any1 going in december 17 2005 on the west

Isfla,
Welcome to our growing family. Always glad to have more people joining us.
So far we are planning on meeting in the Promenade Lounge at 3:00 on the first day. Hope you will join us there. Since this is your first Disney cruise feel free to ask any questions you might have, and someone will be able to answer them for you i'm sure.
Sorry i dont have any kids to introduce your DD to, but others do and I'm sure you'll be hearing from them.
See you soon,

Hi Isfla:

Welcome to our cruise. We have a 9 year old daughter if your girl would like to email her before the cruise. She is interested in meeting girls before we get there. This is our first cruise. Looking forward to meeting you.

Take care,

Good morning everyone - and welcome to our group lsfla! I can't get woke up - got up at 2:55AM this morning to book our Palo reservations. Made one for brunch and another for DS Nick and his DGF Cara for dinner. 90 days! Ummm, what will you be doing 13 weeks from today??? If the old Navigators hold true we will be getting ready to go to a DVC meet.

Have a great day all!

Gail, 2:55 am yikes!! That will be us me Oct. 3 when its our turn. What day did you book the brunch for, I can't decide if we want to do brunch and dinner and which days. Do they only do brunch on sea days?

On another note, I'm sooo excited as we were able to change our flights this morning with Delta. We were scheduled to land at 4:30 on the 16th but they switched us to the morning flight landing at 10 without a charge, yipee! We are attending the MVMCP that night so we have an extra 6 hours before going into the party. I was willing to pay to do the change but it has just saved us over $200!

Have a great day,
Laura

Laura - We are doing brunch on Monday but I don't think we will do dinner this time. I would rather do brunch twice than dinner even once! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I had thought about doing brunch on Sunday but decided with the DVC meet and then wanting to walk around Key West comfortably I had better not so hence the Monday decision.

Brunch is done on the sea days on the Western plus Key West day since we don't dock until noon.

What date is your final payment due?

Is it 60 days out? October 16?

Just booked this cruise 2 days ago and cancelled our 08/19/06 cruise.

Mine paperwork says final is due 10/18

OK, so I have to admit that at 5 yo she isn't a baby anymore, but she's still MY baby. Please keep our family in your prayers...my 5 yo has a 104.6 fever tonight. I told her this is ok...she can get sick now. She can't get sick in 3 months! DD has been sick most of her life...she had a nasty respiratory virus as a baby, and it compramised her immune system. That was one of the many factors that went into our decision to homeschool. She hasn't had one of these fevers in about 5 or 6 months...just when you think you're in the clear, you get reminded that she can get sick at any time. Please send pixie dust for quick recovery, and no relapse before December!

Kellley,

Prayers are being sent your way. Keep us posted about your daughter. Poor thing. Has her fever gone done any?

Hugs
Tami

Kelley,
Blowing lots of pixie dust and prayers you way!!!
We too had a child who had serious medical problems, so I know what kind of stress your going through. Keep us posted on her recovery.  :flower1:

We get to make our ADR's this Saturday for the 24,25 and 26th. Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants? We decided not to go into the parks and just tour the resorts. Thanks guys!

We love breakfast at Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge.

We were at Magic Kingdom yesterday also. We were sooooo surprised to see no lines at all. The longest we had to wait was 10 minutes and that for peter pan. We ate lunch at the Columbia house and again no lines. It was very nice. We didn't even get there until noon and left at 7 or so. A vey nice day.

Hugs
Tami

Nice! We're going this weekend for DS's 8th birthday, so we'll be at MK on Saturday and AK / Epcot on Sunday - hoping for no lines! And to tie this in with the cruise, DS turning 8 before we go eased my mind tremendously about having to hope he could go to the Lab instead of the Club :)

Happy "Talk Like a Pirate" day... pirate:

Tami,
I wish I knew you were at MK, I would of tried to meet for 5 minutes to say hello. That would of been fun. Maybe the chance will present itself again.

Cindy,
We are suppose to be at Epcot on Sunday too, but not 100% sure at this point. If you get the chance, drop me a line before you go to WDW and tell me what you will be wearing and how many of you are going. I'll keep an eye open for you. We usually go in the a.m. and stay until after lunch.
So you might be at AK while we are at Epcot, since the animals are more active in the morning. But i will look just in case, if you send me a description.

Thanks for all the pixie dust...hopefully it will kick in soon...after spending 5 hours between the doctor and the lab today, we're no closer to knowing what, besides a virus, has our munchkin sick. When we got home from the dr today, she was 105.2. The dr said as long as it's coming down, there's nothing else really to do for another 2 or 3 days. I tell you what, though...when she was a baby and sick all the time, I was used to the sleepless nights. Now that my body is used to sleep again, this is for the birds!

We got our tickets for WDW for before the cruise...YEAH!!! The kids still don't know about that part. We're going to be at Port Orleans Riverside...for no other reason than they are the only moderate resort that will accomodate 5 in a room. Otherwise we'd have to go deluxe, and that would mean cutting back severly on my cruise slush fund...we can't do that! We'll get there Tuesday night, and check out Sat morning. We went ahead and booked a complete pkg through AAA, including the Disney Dining plan. We weren't going to, and the more we thought about it, the more we decided that having 1 less thing to worry about when we got there was great, and booking it through AAA was significantly less than going through Disney. So, our tentative itenerary is Wed...Epcot w/dinner at Morocco (thought the kids would find that interesting); Thurs...Magic Kingdom w/dinner at Crystal Palace (wanted Liberty Tree, but they were full...will keep trying!) followed by Mickey's Very Merry; Fri at MGM w/dinner at Prime Time (DH's favorite!).
Onboard, we hope to have APL rotation, with second seating. At Key West, we're going to have lunch at Margaritaville, then do either the conch train or the trolley...haven't decided yet. Grand Cayman, we're island touring and snorkeling with the stingrays at 11:45, Cozumel is the Ruins tour and beach day at noon. Brunch on Thursday, and parasailing on Friday at 10:30 w/11 yo DD. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
