Any You Want Me To Check Out While I'm at WDW?

Looking forward to reading your trip report - and would especially love to read your take on Everest. My DH still insists we will not be riding! Ha! He only gets to decide for himself! If necessary, I will ditch him in Dinoland, LOL.

Have a wonderful time.

Best wishes -

Have a great trip and have a poolside beverage for me!! :thumbsup2

It is still kinda cold here in Maine :guilty:

have a Great trip and safe travels. :thumbsup2

If you go by BWV and happen to pass unit 18b let me know how it looks I just bought 0.337254% of this " unit " :rotfl2:

Make sure to try the tater-tots at Artist's Palette - they're delicious.

Greetings!

While I know that sometimes my postings here on the DIS show a sense of humor that is slightly twisted (in my defense, I'm hanging out with a bad crowd: greenban & rinkwide), I do try, every now and then, to be a contributing member of our little asylum. So, I ask you - is there anything you'd like me to check out, ask about, try to photograph, etc. while I'm down at WDW?

We're arriving Wed, 5/31 and spending our first night at a BCV Studio. The next day (6/1) we're checking into SSR for 5 nights, flying home on Tues (6/6). We will have a car, and we have APs, but we are not planning on doing any parks other than Disney.

No promises, but if you let me know, I'll make a good faith effort to take a look. Also, I'm going to take notes and write a nice & detailed trip report.

Just paying back a little - be well!

FROGS!!!!

TIA

-Tony

Staying at BCV??? Keep an eye out for missing roof shingles, stained carpets and 8 cockaroaches. ;)

I saw this kid in the BCV lobby on my last trip.

We saw one of those on the Ferry to the MK one day. One of the CMs said to my son "watch this." He dropped the bug on the water and a huge bass snapped it up in about two seconds. Those lakes are well stocked.

[...adding to list...]

Tater-tots: check
Frogs: check
roach-eating (ill-tempered?) bass: check

While you're there you might pay our respects to Richyams at "Fred's" tombstone at the Haunted Mansion. I know I always stop and say hello to Rich when I pass that tombstone. ;)

And speaking of horses, rashes (aka wordoftheweek) and seabiscuits, are you by any chance going to be on the dining plan?

Now that Dole Whips are considered 'snack eligible', I'm thinking of doing that plan next time....If you are on it, it would be great if you could tell us how it worked out for TSs.

Thanks, and have a wonderful trip! Don't forget to ride THE ride : calling Dr. Tom Morrow.

Please report on the condition of your room and the BCV in general! Would love to try this resort, but am hearing lots of stories about shabby rooms. :rolleyes2

Thank you!

Sorry, but we're not doing the dining plan - we're just not that into dining at WDW, so we wouldn't get our money's worth....

TTA, on the other hand, is truly a "Can't Miss"!

I'd appreciate it if you could time walking to one of the parks versus riding an SSR bus. After that, could you time the walk to DTD versus the boat? If you would also provide a map showing your route, so that it can be followed by others, that would be extremely helpful. ;)

Seriously...have a wonderful trip!

My Daughter and I will be staying as members the 1st time at SSR 5/30 to 6/4 and then transferring to CSR for a work conference until 6/9. Maybe well see you hanging out at SSR. We are trying the dinning plan for the 1st time this trip only while at SSR. I have heard good things about it for Dinner at least. Going to try resturants outside of the parks. MS said that we should make resie way in advance. I don't know where we want to go and when, it just depends on what is going on that day. Well anyway have a great trip.

Well, it looks like I've got some interesting tasks to perform. I will honestly try to get to them, but I want to make sure I do some vacationing, too! ;) Now if anyone wants to pay for me to go to WDW to answer their questions - just let me know, and I'll send you a quote.... :lmao:

Nailing down the details of our trip: just about finished packing (MrsT is a whiz at that), getting together all the info (that's my job). Get to web into SWA.com tomorrow morning to get our "A" passes, then Wed we're on our way!

Be well!

Huh? I'm pretty sure that the SSR bus is faster from SSR to MK than walking from SSR to MK :confused3

I will take a look at the boat vs walking to DTD.

DrT - I'm sorry, I was just kidding with you as I remembered some of the topics that have generated some lengthy discussions around here, so it was simply my lame attempt at humor. ;)

I hope you and Mrs. DrT have a wonderful time. We're hoping to make our first trip Home in October to BWV during Food & Wine. :)
