Any You Want Me To Check Out While I'm at WDW?

Greetings!

While I know that sometimes my postings here on the DIS show a sense of humor that is slightly twisted (in my defense, I'm hanging out with a bad crowd: greenban & rinkwide), I do try, every now and then, to be a contributing member of our little asylum. So, I ask you - is there anything you'd like me to check out, ask about, try to photograph, etc. while I'm down at WDW?

We're arriving Wed, 5/31 and spending our first night at a BCV Studio. The next day (6/1) we're checking into SSR for 5 nights, flying home on Tues (6/6). We will have a car, and we have APs, but we are not planning on doing any parks other than Disney.

No promises, but if you let me know, I'll make a good faith effort to take a look. Also, I'm going to take notes and write a nice & detailed trip report.

Have fun horsin' around at SSR. I do not know if I will ever be able to order biscuits and gravy at AP for breakfast anymore, now that we have named the icon out front.
If you meet a talkative CM around the resort, ask about the new section and the proposed pool. I am curious.

Enjoy your 1 night stay at the BCV, you had asked and got lots of things to do the first night you are there.

Check out that sign, remember the one that we spent so much time wondering what was coming next. Well, it's a wonderful 3 dimensional bus with Disney characters all enjoying the bus trip to do a DVC tour. If it's been posted here, I haven't seen it, and it is very cute.

We are heading down for a 9 night Florida trip, including 5 in WDW, on June 9th. I really do want to see Herman Hermits and some things that I missed at the Flower and Garden Show. If you see anything special at the F&G show, post it. The Home Depot Garden Party tent has some wonderful things, we missed that, but I've seen some pictures.

There have been several threads posting photos of the new statue (metal: jockey on horse) that is SSR's new icon (like Ariel at BCV). In a fit of group insanity, the name DVCeeBiscuit has sort of stuck (get it, SeaBiscuit the horse, DVCeeBiscuit, biscuit-related humor).

Have a great time!! We'll be there the same time as you, arriving at the BWV on May 31st, and then switching over to SSR on June 3rd, and leaving for home on the 6th. I'm really excited about trying out SSR!

A slightly odd request for photos - I have never been to BCV and am actually really getting curious about the stained/filthy carpet. Do you think you could take a couple of photos of the hall carpet, especially any that looks especially grubby?

Okay, that is the silliest request ever, I am sure...... If it is too bizarre to photograph the hall carpet, I understand if you don't want to!

Corrinna, it is not fithy in the least. I saw the carpet right after it had been cleaned earlier this month. Although I'm guilty of using the word stain myself, discoloration could be more accurate. Someone implied on that thread that should be ignored now that it was due to bags leaking. That is impossible as it is in the middle of the hallway. It is in an area where everyone walks to the elevator. Perhaps even friction caused the discoloration... or whatever. And as someone pointed out, it could be that most wouldn't even notice it.

But it is not dirty much less filthy.

Slightly more seriously, I will take a slightly better notice of the conditions of the various resorts - no roof inspections, but if there are glaring and obvious faults.....

Could you please go to Epcot...locate Rink's Leave a Legacy tile (I think it's at the Rose & Crown, not on the walls at the entrance)...do a pencil tracing of it...and then come back and post it here?
