It's actually a great feature for us since we're Canadian...so anything to avoid a long distance phone call. Can use google Hangouts, but it's not always super clear.They don’t do anything you can’t do on your own, except they apparently have email addresses they send the request to that are not publicized. But it’s ultimately no different than you calling Disney yourself to have the request noted on your reservation, or having your TA do it if you use one. Requests are never guaranteed regardless of how you make them, that’s why they’re called requests.
I just like it because it’s convenient when combined with the room finder, but like I said take it all with a grain of salt.
