Any worthwhile room request for a CR garden wing standard view?

They don’t do anything you can’t do on your own, except they apparently have email addresses they send the request to that are not publicized. But it’s ultimately no different than you calling Disney yourself to have the request noted on your reservation, or having your TA do it if you use one. Requests are never guaranteed regardless of how you make them, that’s why they’re called requests.

I just like it because it’s convenient when combined with the room finder, but like I said take it all with a grain of salt.

It's actually a great feature for us since we're Canadian...so anything to avoid a long distance phone call. Can use google Hangouts, but it's not always super clear.
Really love the Disney Boards...such great information and just to be able to share experiences and knowledge Thank you!

Touring Plans is great. I will subscribe when we hit the 1 year away mark. I think you can make room requests through them? We decided to book the Garden View, but good to know that monorail noise from the standard view rooms isn't an issue. Those would be fun.

OP ...curious what you requested? Our trip isn't for a bit but not sure whether to first request ground floor and then near main tower, or vice versa.

I still haven't decided what to request! I got an email from Touring Plans a few days ago prompting me to enter my request because our trip is getting close. I am being terribly indecisive.
