Any word on the AKL pool slide?

I read it has been closed. Anyone know for how long? I guess it is not the worst thing that could happen. All it means is we will have to come down and stay at the AKL lodge again to use it!!!!

Our kids though the slide was pretty lame anyway when we stayed there a couple weeks ago. I definitely wouldn't change anything or be disappointed if it's still closed.
