Any word on MORE 2012 discounts???

Are there any rumors about next fall since Disney failed to release free dining this week for that far out? I'm dying for a September 2012 discount!

I'm waiting for the first week of June, too! Although are dates can be flexible (including the last week of May). I actually just spoke with someone today when I was making a payment. she said something might be announced by the end of the month (which is pretty much now) or next month. And that if not, definitely in Nov/Dec. I know they don't really KNOW, but it made me feel a little hopeful. Fingers crossed that IF something comes out it will be before I make my dining reservations, since I can tweak my dates for a discount if I need to.

We had a free dining bounceback in our room last week that went from August 17 to September 27th of 2012. Hopefully they will release it to the general public pretty soon. I booked Sept 26 thru Oct 2 , 2012 , but would love to get the same kind of offer for mid-December of 2012. If that comes out before I buy airfare for September 2012 , I will change it to December 2012.

Ditto! I am pretty sure there won't be another free dining promo again during my travel dates but I sure would like some kind of discount.

I'm a little worried that there were so many blackout days for free dining from Oct-Dec and they still haven't announced any other discounts for that time period. We never get pin codes, so I am very concerned about what that means for our October 2012 trip.

Have not heard anything yet. We pushed our trip back from Sept 2012 to Nov 9Th 2012. I am worried . Using the same day not date we would be blacked out . On first day so we would have to do two res to get free dinning. It started on that Sat day affter check in .

The fact that aside from limited free dining, there have been no general public offers for October 2011, is pretty disconcerting. In recent years, Disney has never announced discounts this late. Obviously, they are expecting most October/November guests to pay rack rate, as they can't except msot people to wait till just a month out to book a trip. They may still have a "last minute" general public discount, with very limited availability.

But with no general offers for fall of 2011, I wouldn't be very optimistic for 2012. There should still be something for traditionally slow periods, such as hurricane season.

But seeing some sort of room discount for mostly every month -- that *might* be a thing of the past.

We are waiting too for august 2012. I hope it is soon so I can make airline ressies and dining as soon as i can.

I am already booked at POFQ for December 2012, but I am still hoping for free dining. I would love to add that to our trip. For now, I have the TS dining plan on our reservation. I am going to wait as long as possible to get airfare, in case I have to change because of free dining dates.

I think you may get it. I booked the bounceback and the dates for it were 8/17-9/27/12 so that may end up being the public offer eventually. Keep watching, I hope it works out for you. I am thrilled to have it all set an not have to stress over when discounts come out.
