Any word on FREE dining for fall 2014?

I heard they should be announcing fd on May 1st (rumor has it ) I am crossing my fingers

Rumor has it that FD will be offered on May 1st for Fall reservations. My sister and I are keping our fingers crossed since we will be taking our annual Disney World trip in September. Waiting to make our resevations once we know for sure. Can't wait to make the trip!

May 1 rumor is likely for Disney Visa Card holders with a GP release on May 5th. "Fall" as in September(maybe the last couple of days of August).

Fall - October-December FD if it happens will be not be released until mid/late July; last year was August 1.

I called today and it is not offered for Disney cardholders yet and no inkling from the Cast Member that I talked with.

So excited about all the info. on free dining. Just a few questions: At what time of the day does the free public offer become live? Is it better to call or do everything online? Also, I have seen 2 different release dates, May 5 and May 7. Which is accurate?
