Any women sports (baseball) fans?

What do you think of this? My city's baseball team, The Cardinals, colors are red. A new thing with ladies apparel is pink shirts, hats etc. I'm talking baby pink. Like this...

Now I was out shopping and found a really cute pink t-shirt (not the one shown). It's a pretty color (albeit not technically the right color) and it's fitted rather than just a plain frumpy tshirt. Do you think this trend is ok or just ruins the whole image of baseball. I'm truly conflicted.

I'm not really a fan of the pink sportswear. All the sports do it, not just baseball. It was ok when the few teams who did it donated proceeds to Breast Cancer charities but most of the teams do it and just do it because they think women want to wear pink. I'd rather wear my teams colors but the pickins are slim as most items are pink! (And I am way to vain to wear a men's shirt.)

Well, as you can see from the pic in my siggie, I'm a fan of the various ladies colors! We were at Fenway Park today and we saw a sea of pastel colors (along with lots of red, while and blue). So, to answer you question, I think the pink shirt is cute. Go for it!!

I love sports. But I like the "in person" sports most of all and since we don;t any pro teams here college will do.
In TN for Vols you only wear orange. Orange and white--a sea of orange and white. But for our local college, I have a few of their shirts and sweatshirts in pink. I love those. But I look good in pink. It is one of "my" colors.

I love baseball..... Braves fan forever! If pink's the thing, go for it! I prefer team colors, though.

I wouldn't wear it myself. I have to wear the correct colors of the Cubs: blue or red. Now ... my mother bought my girly-girl daughter a pink striped jersey with a pink Cubs logo and it is oh-so-cute! She even has a matching Cubbie Bear hat. *sigh*

Ava has something simlar with a skirt from my brother.

I on the other hand have purchased the proper black/white sox's outfit for her.

But to the op. I do like the pink shirts.

i personally think a lighter shade of team colors is fine but not every lil/big girl wants pink.

I personally don't like it. I would rather have a regular jersey. I am a huge Red Sox fan, and I will admit I don't like any of the funky colored shirts--even the green jerseys. I also hate all of the "parody" jersey shirts they sell outside the park with stupid, crude comments about the Yankees on them. Show some class, fellow Red Sox fans!!

I'm in the market for a new jersey this year--I am buying a Varitek--in traditional colors, which I will wear with pride at the first game DH and I have tickets to this year--May 1--against the Yankees. Go Red Sox!

Dodger fan here. I'm a purist - I like the team colors. I can wear pink any ol' time - and frequently do! But for my baseball games, I put on my Dodger blue hat and my jersey. It's not a fashion statement - it's a baseball game!!!
