I did!!!!! I got to Target at 4:15 and there were already 13 people there, so I didn't chance that. Went to Circuit City in Maple Grove and I was 7 or 12, so yippee!!!!!!!!!!! Funny thing is, Target got 15, so I would have been ok if I'd stayed there too.

AWESOME...glad to hear that some people did get lucky. Right now the odds look "decent" through Amazon, so I am going to keep my fingers crossed!

Wow. That is so lucky. You only waited 20 min? There were 200 + people in front of our Target. They only got in 18. People that had been there since 4 in the morning were turned away.

No Wii for us today but my DS15 did get a Xbox 360 at TRU and the $100 gift card! He was so wild when I told him he has been saving his money to buy one for ages. I had to front him some Christmas money to buy it today but with the $100 card he was able to get a game and some Bionicles. Thanks to whoever posted about this deal.
Now if we can just find DS17 a Wii.

Some chains(mostly ToysRus and Best buy) are known to hold back items when they are going to have a breaking ad. Targets and others just put them on the shelf whenever they arrive.

This ToysRus said they had not sold any since the last ad broke(2 weeks ago), any units that arrived since then had been stored for this ad.

Here in Socal you can buy the Sunday LA times preview edition on Sat, it comes with all the ads.

Got to EB Games at 6:30 & was 1st in line with co-worker being #2 - they had 7 - supposedly sold 2 before they knew they were supposed to put them away till today Well about 30 people showed up and walked away w/o one - some even hung around hoping that some of the 1st 7's CC wouldn't go through Thats why I brought CASH, I wasn't taking any chances.

Thankfully my son did get one from Target, but I think it is cruddy you can hold me hostage for $400 for a week to tell me the item is no longer in. A live person took my order. I wonder how many people got burnt.

The price has really dropped on ebay today if anyone is still debating. Over the weekend they were going for $700!! Today I've seen some closing in the upper $300's.

Well I am sitting at my desk right now in TEARS.

For some reason I decided to call the Walmart by my office to see if they had any in...low and behold they did this morning and they are sold out. So I call another one about 10 minutes from my office and they had just gotten three in...or so he said. I BUST butt out of the office (skipped a meeting) to try to get one...I get there and I talk to the kid that I talked to on the phone and he tells me that he doesn't know WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT...they haven't had any in for WEEKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took everything I had to not slap him...I just walked away in tears and went to look for some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse toys or Cars...none of those either, sorry guys.

And now I am mad at myself...why do I get so wrapped up in getting this. Maybe it is because we haven't always been able to afford the nice expensive gifts for my DHs son...and this year we can...and of course we cannot get what he wants. Just makes me sad...I had this vision of FINALLY being the "good parents", being able to get him something nice...guess not!

My DH noticed that too! He saw one last night that ended right above 250.

I waited in line with a group of people that ended up with five to sell on ebay, they were already posted. (I decided not to tell them how wrong I thought it was, they were nice people). I discussed that with them, that the market for Wii was going to end very quickly, on ebay. It looks like it's pretty much done!

It was SO bad...I was seriously crying...and then I get mad at myself for doing that...I am sure I looked like a freak. I guess I just have to hope that I get the Amazon offer...wish I knew today and not have to wait till the morning.
