Any Wii's out there??????

You can go onto Amazon.com and vote for either the Wii, PS3 20gb or PS3 60gb and then on Tuesday you can check back and see if you have "won" the chance to buy whichever you voted for.

So I "essentially" have two votes, ours and then my friends.

So I can't vote for you. I could possibly win the chance to buy it myself and then somehow buy it for you?

Sounds too complex to me. Sorry, I wanted to help you if I could. I stood outside of Best Buy on launch day(got there at 5:30am) and was number 21 out of 64 so I got one then. I've been watching this thread though hoping everybody who wants one can get one. I sympathize as it's all DS has talked about for about a year.

Best Buy has a recording they are receiving no WII's at all. Funny thing is they told us they WOULD have some in.

Joey just called and said they were #2 and 3 in line. 2 people showed up after them. Just kills me, there were 6 or 7 people in line?

Contrast the Best Buy minimum of 15/store for our area tomorrow with the fact that these same stores had > 100/store on launch weekend - that makes me wonder if there will be a fairly small number of these around Sunday..... Hate to say it but I'd get there REAL early if you MUST have one (wonder if people will be camping out).

Maybe they are doing this anticipating alot of people showing up and know anyone that calls will NOT be getting one. If the store is only getting say 12 then they are already almost at capacity

Thanks for thinking of me...I am still holding out a glimmer of hope...my DH and kiddos would sure love to have one under the tree. But what can you do. I have enough other things to cover the "missing item".

If my son and his friend (who is trying to get the second one for me) scores 2 of them, I have one coming by mail that is a bundle pack... (total of 3, one for my son, one for my nephews and one--?) I will let you know. I was thinking of this board before the boys went. I am willing to sell at cost... I hate how hard these things are to get and at face value.
He was outside with 13 people. I was thankful 4 were people older then I. I would hate for it to be kids under 21 outside... just because... well... I am thankful.

These 2 systems from Target are just the systems, no bundle pack thing.

His friend who is getting lower and lower on my list (there are things I do not like... he is not BAD, but annoying maybe is more the right word?) was going to sell his 'third' place in line status for $ so someone could get one. I threatened him with his life. He has my money to buy the third one.
He just has no common sense. My mom lives with us, pays rent, and he got mad at her b/c my lease states only ppl on the least can live/stay here. He read it as 3 adults can live here. That is not what it said. So he got into it with my mom that if SHE wasn't here, he could live here (rent free he thought... not!).
He has a lot of good qualities but he is here every waking hour and can get on my last nerve.

I came home about an hour ago and had no luck.

I know a single parent that was looking for one for her son so I thought I would try to get her one. We left at 3:30 am and pretty much all of the systems had been taken by the people in line. We tried Target, Best Buy and Game Stop. Target had 18, BB had 25 and Game Stop had 9. We also tried Toys R Us, they were getting 50 but we would have been 54. If we had gone there first we probably would have gotten one.

I don't know if Wal-Mart was getting any. I looked at the one in the mall and there was no one standing in line but that could be because mall security was not allowing people to wait.

Dh went to Traget at 1:00 am and was #6 in line YAY! They only got 15. My boys are going to be VERY happy!

Well, I went to 4 stores this morning, and no luck!!! I got to Best Buy at 6am, and a store manager came out at 6:30 and said the store only got 18 of them. There were people camped out there since midnight!! Then, I went to Target and they only got 15. Ran to Circuit City and they had a sign on the door "SOLD OUT". Ran to Walmart, and they didn't have any either. I have given up on finding one before Christmas!!! Guess my kids will have to wait until next year!

Just back. My hubby and I camped out at Best Buy since 9pm last night. They had 23 and that number of people were in line by 12:30 or 1 am. Lots of sad faces this am in line inthe back. Going to sleep now! Oh, we got one!

I was at Toys R Us at 6:15 this morning was number 9 in line to get a Wii. They only had 14. I am so excited~

Seems like in Montgomery everybody went to Bestbuy or Target and did not think about Toys R Us. Was even able to pick up some extra controllers... Best part was we got the Xbox 360 for teenage son and today you got a $100 gift card for buying that so I used it towards the Wii!!

I arrived at Best Buy at 12:30. Number one arrived at 10:30pm.

I was 11 out of 18. number 18 arrived around 3:30am.

Happy kids on Christmas Morning.

You really need to get there earlier than six am. If you get there then, its too late.

I did!!!!! I got to Target at 4:15 and there were already 13 people there, so I didn't chance that. Went to Circuit City in Maple Grove and I was 7 or 12, so yippee!!!!!!!!!!! Funny thing is, Target got 15, so I would have been ok if I'd stayed there too.
