Any WEN (haircare products) users out there!!!!

My hair is really curly , I usually wash , condition, and use flat iron, (maxiglide flat iron)

few weeks back I saw a show in QVC about the Wen system , and I ended up ordering over 100.00 worth of the products as I really like the idea of 1 product to take care of your hair and they are made of natural plants and oils, not harsh chemicals


Today I got the products in the mail,was so excited and not wanting to wait , I tried them , it felt funny not having any lather and having to pump shampoo in sections (8pumps per side)... well to tell the story short...MY HAIR IS A MESSSS!!!!!! Dry and weird, cannot comb it ,

maybe I did something wrong???

What experiences do you have using the wen products, ?

The package says that "the longer you use it the better your hair will be..."

I invested over 100.00 and do not know if I should give them more time to see if it works or just send them back for a refund

You have 30 days for getting a refund at QVC. My sister and her roomate love Wen's hair products, so maybe read on QVC.com, watch a video, etc. and keep trying. If you don't like it in a few weeks, then send it back.

I've heard of the stuff, I don't use it though, but I've got a question...if you only need 1 product to take care of your hair, how did you spend over $100 in hair care products? Is 1 bottle $100? Shoot. I'll stick with shampoo!

I have used it once only because a friend of mine had it and wanted me to try hers. It really made my hair very soft and lots of body. I have thin hair so it was nice, I think you should give it another try.

I agree it did feel weird not having all of the soap bubbles.

I tried this and it made my head itchy and my scalp not clean at all. With normal shampoo I go 2 - 3 days between washes. With WEN my hair looked greasy by the afternoon.

My friend loves Wen so she gave me a little to try. It made my hair oily & greasy and i did not like having no lather. However, i used it on my daughter who has curly hair and swims almost daily and it made her hair the healthiest its been in years.

I have used WEN for about 2 years now. I love this stuff. I buy the really big bottles now. What size bottle do you have? On the regular size bottles (16 oz) I would use usually around 20-25 pumps. I don't do mine in sections - I just massage it all over my head. I then towel dry my hair and put on a few more pumps for a leave in conditioner. I also flat iron my hair everyday and this stuff makes my hair not frizzy. I used to have get my hair cut every 4-6 weeks because my ends were so dry and fried. Now, I easily go 3-5 months ( I just trim my bangs myself). Can you tell I love this stuff. For me I have not found anything I like better ( and I have tried all the expensive brands also).

I've tried three different Wen formulations and also tried mixing two of them together. It did not work well in my hair, no matter how many times I tried to find the perfect number of pumps for me. I ended up giving up and tossing them all away after a while. I think it works great for a certain texture of hair, and not well at all for others.
