Any WDW restaurants you won't return to?

This is a really funny thread. So many of my favorites are on the list.;)
Anyway for us, it was Cinderellas Royal table. Boy what a rip-off. Mediocre food at best and the poor waitstaff were so rushed and harried, I felt like telling our server to sit and take a load off.

For us Sci-Fi Theater. Not only the worst meal we ever had on property, but poor service and lousy customer service. We waited over an hour for our ADR's, then were seated at a picnic table in the back. When my husband asked why we couldn't have a car, they said cars were only for people with ADR's not walk ups. I then whipped out my index card ( see post and poll about trip planning!!) with all the information about my ressie including the day it was booked. We then waited another 1/2 hour. When we finally got to the car, the dashlights didn't work and I could hardly see my hand in front of my face. The movies were really funny and that was probably the best part, although I did enjoy the BLT soup, but the rest of the meal was by far the worst I have ever had at Disney. I would probably be very desperate if I went back there for anything again.

We did not enjoy Garden Grill. It was O.K., but once was enough. DH will not return to Sci Fi either. Nothing particularly bad about it, he's just sick of it.

Thankfully for many of you, we will likely never eat at Cinderella's Royal Table again either. Been there, done that and my girls are over it. We did it several times when they were younger, but thankfully I need not get up at the crack of dawn anymore!;)

I think I've eaten at almost every table service spot in WDW...just a few exceptions. San Angel is one exception, and one I think will stay on that list.
Anyway, my list of 'won't be going back' is...
WCC..have had some good times there, but the last few have been mediocre at best, and downright yucky at other times.
Chefs du France....really awful server, food was not good.
Cape May dinner buffet...hated the food.
Sci-Fi...mediocre food, bad experience due to the guests seated in front of us..much swishing of long hair in my food.
Kona...used to love it here, but not so much anymore.
'Ohana...again, used to be a 'must do' but I haven't cared for the food the last few times.

I have had middle of the road service at a lot of restaurants but the food has made up for that. But, some places the food was less than stellar and no amount of good service made up for it.

We have always LOVED everything we have eaten at LeCellier. We book dinner there every trip.

This trip (Dec 19-26) changed our minds for a while.....we ordered the NY strip, Mushroom Filet and the Pork Chops - all of which were just not up to LeCellier standards. My NY strip had no flavor - the Yukon gold potatoes were the best part of my entree. The filet that DH ordered was bland as well. My Mom said her pork chop was ok - but she had eaten better.

I guess the cheese soup, pretzel breadsticks and creme brulee were worth it - because they were delish!

we have decided to skip LeCellier our next trip.....

I never like to say "never"--but in Fulton's case , I'll make an exception.

this is what makes it wonderful......we all have likes and dislikes.....other wise we would not be able to make any reservations at all......I like most of the places with the exception of San Angel Inn because it was the REAL Mexican and we are used to Americanized Mexican...AND Morocco ONLY because it is not my type of food .......Other then that I will eat most anything

For us it will be

WCC-really disliked the food and wasn't thrilled with the hokey pokey theme there.

Chefs de France-one of our former favs that we feel has really slid downhill. We hope it returns to it's former glory.

Pecos Bills-we do not do much counter service but this one has been the worst we have tried.

Well, our last trip was November of 06 (yes, when the kids menu fiasco was in full swing)...but here's our list of NEVER...and I do mean never.

1. Tony's Town Square. It's a shame...it used to be nice, but last time (after 3 tries) I still got the wrong entree...who knew it was so hard to get them to bring what you actually ordered (which was Eggplant Rollatini...and I kept getting some veal or fish dish instead)! Even my son wants to boycott the place (unless they bring back the ravioli).
2. San Angel Inn! That place is just horrible. We have good authentic mexican restaurants (and some good tex-mex places too) where I live. San Angel Inn has beautiful surroundings, but the food was awful and the service was poor as well.
3. Ohana -- Really cold food for breakfast (cold eggs...YUCK, cold Mickey Waffles...why bother, and cold bacon...as in it had been sitting there for a long while!) and a waitstaff that outright ignored us and NEVER brought anything to drink...not even water...and never brought us the fruit tray that supposedly "comes with" breakfast! It's the one time that I actually spoke with the manager and refused to pay the bill! We didn't eat anything!

Sci-Fi Theater for us too. The food was mediocore, and the service took forever!

Same with Tony's, we weren't impressed at all.

San Angel for me, too, for a couple of reasons: DW and kids don't like the more traditional, "real" Mexican food. They are much more into the americanized version! I, on the other hand, could have ordered anything on the menu and been happy - IF the quality had been better. What I got lacked flavor and didn't seem fresh.

Also, the ABC Comm. in MGM had awful food. We had eaten at Cosmic Rays earlier in the week and really enjoyed it, was expecting the same at ABC - yuck!

ITA! I didn't care for the food we got at San Angel our last trip and ABC has the most awful food. ABC was the first place I tried on my first trip to WDW and it was so awful! I was afraid all the CS food there was going to be that bad

ooh, I forot about Fulton's. Another overpriced pretentious place that has no business being that way. The food was okay, but our meal was NOT worth a couple hundred dollars, neither was the atmosphere, and the service was "stuffy". Again, they have no business acting that way until they clear up their other issues.

Sorry to hear that. We didn't do Fulton's this year, but we have every other year we have been at Disney and it has always been one if not the best meal we had. And the service was first class.

Just returned back from the WDW ... overall, out of 14 meals (TS and CS combined, only 4 of these were yucky).

WCC - I was soooo disappointed because so many have raved about this place. We ordered the skillet and the meats were dry and flavorless. Ditto for the kids meal. However, the atmosphere was fun and our kids enjoyed the pony races.

UK Fish and Chips - very very very greasy and tooooo much batter on the fish. The fries were great though.

ABC Commissary - OMG! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. We had the burger meals (again dry and no flavor) and the buns were rock hard.

FLame Tree BBQ - again, major disappointed because so many on here have raved about it. We didn't get the ribs (perhaps that's why?) but the sandwiches and wraps were semi-frozen with wilted lettuce.

The vast majority of our meals at WDW have been good to excellent. The only place I will never return to is Yakitori House. I've eaten there twice, and the last time DH and I had to throw away our teriyaki chicken because it was so nasty. My chicken had all this fat on the bottom of the chicken breast. It's ironic because I often see it mentioned as one of the better CS places at Epcot. Not in our experience!

Sci fi, Coral Reef, and Tony's are the only resturants in WDW that I will never eat at again.

San Angel Inn

Liberty Town Tavern dinner (might try lunch)

Portobellos - used to be our favorite but food has really gone down hill

Captain Jacks

Possibly Le Cellier - extremely over rated, poor service and good food, but not great

WCC - we had fun, the food was good but it was a pain getting there and there wasn't anything that we really were wowed with.

ABC Comm at MGM - just so awful
