Any way I can store a 77 meg file?

I ned to email a 77 meg file, and AOL won't let me email that large. Most file hosting gives you a max of 50 megs per file. ANyone know any other place or way I can do this? TIA!!!

You can buy a USB memory stick for very few dollars, that would allow you to save the file, transport it and plug it into another machine.

There are several (free) programs out there that will allow you to split a big file into emailable chunks, and then join them back together. I've used HJSplit, but other than "it works for me" I can't give a full recommndation.

Note that this is kind of a pain. You need to get the software, install it, etc. If you are going to be doing this often, it's worth it. Once you get the process set up, it's pretty easy. But if this is just a one or two time thing, I'd just burn a CD and mail it.

Put it on the web somewhere and have who ever download it. Less strain on the mail system and you don't risk over filling someone mail box.

Has it already been compressed? If not, you may be able to use one of the shareware/freeware file compression programs to get it to a more manageable size.

That's my problem. All the free web hosts have huge storage available, but not for an individual file. They all max out at 50 megs each. To Tarheel, yes it is compressed as much as possible. It is a massive file. I think I will try gmail when I get home from work.
