Any updates on Genie+ release date

okay that makes more sense, the family had a member in a wheelchair. I was just confused because I thought DAS return was on the side closer to Splash Mountain.
No, when we used it in September we scanned in right in front of the gates of the mansion.

Same for us. We scanned for our das right at the gate of HM. It was kind of awkward beauase we'd just walk up to the carriage and then the person there would let us through and just tell us to merge in with the regular line as they entered the HM. They didn't stop the line for us and let us though they just told us to merge in. People were like why the heck are these people cutting? It was awkward. Every other ride they stop the line for a sec and let you go for you das.

I used the DAS at WDW two weeks ago and used their Genie to do my own return times. You scan your ‘band/card/phone’ at the pedestal, it turns green then blue. That blue is so the CM will look at you and check your picture and then click you to green. So if DL is the same you’d know it was DAS because of the picture check.

It was awkward for us too. Guy tried to joke about merging like its the 405.... but we felt like jerks and got some looks.

During the day the line moves slow enough that people will see you with the card and CM. It's harder at night and people may not see. Had to stop a three person wide load as it's a bit of a bottleneck to get into the stretching room.

Wasn’t WDW was given about a two week notice before genie came out? That means if DLR plans to hit their Fall deadline still posted on the website we should hear something in the next few days.

While it still may happen, when we were there over Thanksgiving, CMs told us it has officially been moved to Winter.

This feels accurate and honestly Disney needs to update their website to reflect this fact. If they know they are pushing back the start date it is misleading to leave it up as is.
Well, that’s just it. It hasn’t “officially“ been pushed to a later date because there has been no official announcement on their website or elsewhere.

It certainly does feel like Genie+ was meant to be out before now. Of course, maybe it launches next week and they make their fall date after all. It would be nice to hear something from them.

I mean we were at The Grand last night where checkin was for Club 33 members to attend Candelight Processional. I can assure you these folks had a vibe lol. I don't know that I've seen that much expensive clothing in one place in a long time.
Yeah, it was crazy, wasn’t it?!

My husband and I decided to only go on rides w short lines this trip. Today it doesn’t seem too bad for the it wildly popular rides. ROTR looks ridiculous. PP is out, unless we haul out of bed at 8 or stay up until midnight. Agree that Genie is unlikely to launch until next year.
