Any "unusual Character sightings" since May 5th?

The last show that "Live with Regis and Kelly" did at WDW, they had a lot of characters on stage. Jiminy Cricket was even there.

I was wondering this. Anyone just back from WDW, have any unusual character sightings to talk about. It would be really great to see all 7 dwarves and of course Jiminy, just to name a few that never seem ot be around.

Just curious. Thanks

I guess the only one I didn't expect to see was Chicken Little. I heard a lot of people ask "who's that?". Still a huge line for him. I was desperately trying to find Donald but I kept missing him. So disapointing!

We saw all 7 dwarves at MNSSHP the first time we went in 2003. Kind of off topic from the thread, but just a little side-note. :)

Actually in the last year Jiminy has become more popular. Many have reported seeing him in front of AK or on the Epcot holiday bus.

As for the dwarves they were out and about a lot last spring. Seem to be regulars at the MNSSHP's. But no realy sightings since then.

We saw all 7 dwarfs and Snow White at Germany in Epcot just this past Saturday (May 21).

I also waited in the character line in Toontown and Donald Duck with Daisy Duck were in there.

We were surprised and thrilled to see Jiminy Cricket at MGM Studios last October. He was across from the big hat during one of the character greets where they have several different characters. Also was at WDW again in April and a lady I was talking to on the bus said they had seen him at MGM that week as well in the same area where we had seen him six months earlier.

we saw Jiminy at the Italy pavilion in Epcot

That duck is Launchpad McQuack. He is better known from Duck Tales and other Disney Afternoon television shows. I only saw him at AK on our last trip in December, so I am glad he's still around.

Donald is pretty elusive isn't he? The only way we usually get to see him is to have a Breakfastosaurus in AK

We have seen Donald and Daisy several times on the character bus at Epcot. They do signings/photos together and there was one line for both. We had some cute photos with our 2 kids.

We saw Snow White near the gate beside Germany last Friday (5/20/05). I'd seen Dopey in the same place earlier in the week and approached the CM asking about him. She told me all seven would be coming out at 3:05. Sure enough. We waited ten minutes and the clumping of shoes (hi-ho style) started and all seven came out for photos and autographs.

This was a huge score for our group - big Snow White fan in the 10 year old. CMs can usually tell you with great accuracy when/if someone is going to appear. The CM I spoke to pulled a list from her pocket and the grid was full of locations and characters.

We've seen Donald on the character bus at Epcot. He's hard to fit. Can't be more than 5'2" or 3" in there. Another place to see him is at MVMCP - he has a Christmas tree farm and is dressed in the flap eared hat and red plaid coat. The tree farm used to be next to City Hall, but last year was at the edge of Fantasyland near the old Skyway building.

Just remembered another place we encountered Donald was inside the town hall on Main St. USA in MK. He was inside in that hallway where people met to pin trade.

But the other poster is correct, ask a CM. If they don't know they will call for you and find which park and where to meet a character. That's how my DS finally got to met Max last trip! We were told when and where, Max had just come out of his trailer in MGM when we rounded that corner, DS started running toward Max (DS was 8) and said "You don't know how long I've waited to met you". I think Max was touched by DS's show of emotion and really played up to him. It was great!

We've met Donald several times inside the Mexico Pavillion at Epcot, dressed as one of the Three Caballeros, I guess. Here's MY million dollar question...where can I find MULAN, other than at PSB??? She's DD's (10yo)favorite, JUST missed her in Dec. Three hours later at Candlelight Processional, DD heaved a huge, sad sigh, and said, "I just wanted to meet Mulan..." So sweet, so sad...

Thinking back it took us quite a few trips to finally find Donald--- then once we did he seemed to be everywhere.

We've seen him in MGM multiple times in front of the Hat. Also in the "lobby" at Chef Mickey's. As well as w/ Daisy in front of the castle in MK.

We've met Mulan in MGM as well.

Mulan hangs out in China. She was my elusive character for a long time but we saw her during the past two trips...once just at the entrance to China (June 2004) and inside the big round building (January 2005).

To leebee-we saw Mulan last year in MGM in the character greets by the hat.

I would love to see the 7 dwarfs, Jiminy Cricket and Chicken Little. Oh and I cannot forget, my DS's want to see the Incredibles and I have read that they are in MGM. Hope they are still around next month. :)

such incouraging news that there have been more Jiminy sightings. i am keeping my hopes up that i will find him on one of my next few visits.

the 24 year old photo of him and i that i take on trips with me is getting pretty dog-eared. He embodies the childhood memories of WDW that i have. I have to see him again and have a new pic taken with my children.

- ok, now i'm getting all drippy eyed. where's my tissue?!?!

I dind't know Donald was so hard to find. We went for our honeymoon last year, he was the second character we took pics with, the first was Daisy (they were not together) Maybe we'll catch them together this time. We got Donald right after the stage show at the castle, he came out front for pics.

I don't know if this will fuel the fire, but here goes.

When DH and I were honeymooning in 2000 (June) we saw a TON of characters. I have pics with most of these to prove it.

Hades from Hercules
Hercules
Megara
All the dwarfs
Mary Poppins
Cinderella
Snow White
Belle
Beast
Timon
Mulan
Smee
Captain Hook
Green Army Man
Jesse and Bulleseye from Toy Story 2 - not sure if this was in 2000, but we do have pics with them
Buzz and Woody
Kermit the Frog
Aurora
The Fab Five - we saw them in the American Pavillion in Epcot
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
Alice
All the Pooh characters
I know there's more, but I can't think of them right off the top of my head

When we were in Disneyland in 2001 (April) we saw Kuzco and Kronk from "The Emperor's New Groove."

I'd still LOVE to see Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. He's #1 on my wish list!
