Any tips you can share for a successful "sister" trip? (age 21 & 25)

My sister and I (age 26 & 29) love to do Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian. It's a must do for us each trip.

My sister's a huge fan of the glow drinks, but as we've learned they have them almost everywhere. This part trip she enjoyed the one at the Brown Derby (Page Turner Tini I think) the most, but all of them have been fine.

We're personally a fan of character meals but then we have fond memories of going to them with family. It doesn't seem like a trip without a visit to either 1900 Park Fare for breakfast (Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Pooh) or the Crystal Palace (Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore). As far as other meals go, we like Via Napoli in Epcot for pizza and the Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios. Generally, we like the quick service options more than the table service options in both the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. We really loved the look of Be Our Guest, but the service was eh--if it's possible to go for lunch by either using fastpass plus or getting there early, I'd say that is the better option.

First I'll say I'm old enough to be your mom (46) and take trips with my first sister (43) once yearly just the two of us and with our 3rd sister (34) with her family and various versions of mine and my sisters each summer and sometimes during food and wine/mnsshp times of year. When I take the trip with just my second sister we've learned that the most successful trips are ones where I do the planning with her loving being surprised. I'd go crazy if I didn't do the planning lol. It works for us. We take time to enjoy the lounges in places like epcot as well as the resorts. We use the bus system as our dd. We basically go at it like a cross between being 8 year olds (riding and doing what we want not what "the kids would want") we even wear matching shirts and tiaras like we did when we were kids but we also hit it like a week long bachlorette party. We keep it flexible aside from our dining adr's and always have a great time. Have fun with your sister!

My sis and I go to Disneyland Paris every year. We've also been to DL and WDW together. You didn't mention if you've gone on vacation with your sis before, so I'll just give you some advice: don't feel bad about going separate ways for a while and most of all, enjoy your time and don't try to squeeze in everything! My sis isn't particularly fond of thrill rides so we usually split when it comes to that. Actually, now that I think of it, the only thing she won't do ever again is ToT

You mention of squeezing in this and that - don't! Take your proper time to do things, even if that means having to miss stuff. That's always an incentive then to have to come back.

Since you stay at POFQ, go to the Boardwalk and have an awesome time one night! My sis and I love going to Jellyrolls! Also don't miss out on DTD. Great shopping and dining! Do DisneyQuest only if you have enough time to really enjoy it and don't just squeeze it in because it's there.

If you want to go outlet shopping, do that in the late afternoon so you won't miss park time if that's something you worry about. Go after a park closes early (like AK). The outlets are open till 10 and will be less crowded later in the day. The Vineland one is a very short cab ride from DTD. On the way back, enjoy a couple drinks at Bahama Breeze (next to the Marriott Village between DTD and the outlets).

Just wanted to wish you the happiest time together.

I'm going soon with my sister. I'm 52, she's 42 and we're going to have a blast as always.

Hope you do too!!.

Oh, one thing we do that's embarrassing but we could care less is: LAUGH!!!
We just crack up about all kinds of things!!

Hope you have a great time. Me (29) and my sister (27) are also doing a sisters trip in June 2014. I would def second the Jellyrolls idea. We wont be going this trip but I have been there with a group of friends and it was soo fun. I am trying not to plan too much. I will make a list of what parks im going to and which days I'm going along with park hours. Ill also include FP+ selections and ADRs. I think the only one we are going to try and get is a Tusker house brunch. Possibly Be our guest and a fantasmic dining package if I am unable to get FP+ for them. (I want BOG fp+ for lunch.) I also want reserved seating for F! Also, we are not doing the dining plan because we eat small portions, drink only water, and don't really eat dessert. When booking, we just chose the value resort ASSports preferred room so we are close to busses. I've stayed at values twice before and have never had a prob with the busses. Hope you have a great time! Don't try to do all the rides because you prob wont be able to and I don't want you to be dissapointed. Also, try to ignore the % of guests who are inconsiderate jerks. (Cutting in front of you and stuff)

Another vote for Jellyrolls!! My sister and I did the same thing you are doing when I was 21 - she was 26. That was quite a long time ago (eek) and we celebrated my 21st at Pleasure Island. That is long gone, but you might think about having some nightlife at the Boardwalk (Jellyrolls) or going to Downtown Disney to Spitsville or another one of the bar-type places there. You could also head over the Universal's City Walk if you want to get away from WDW proper.

Have fun!!!
