Any talks about a hard ticket event inside mvmcp?

Any chance that just means you have to have a ticket for the party to eat dinner there that evening? I noticed that a few weeks ago when looking for dinner reservations.
LTT also says "Special Ticketed Event" on party nights from 7:05-8:00.

Does anyone think they will do something like the villains dessert party at mnsshp at mvmcp. I'm not thinking a villans dessert party but maybe they'll through some type of frozen dessert party? Seems like the trend... Or something along the lines of that?

Unless their hearts grow three sizes between now and then you can bet they'll find a way to squeeze every cent out of anyone who doesn't know any better. In other words...count on it.

Yes, if you want to eat after 7:00 you would have to have a party ticket, not a park ticket.

CRT, LTT and Tony's are the only ones showing a "Special Ticketed Event". Does that mean that they will have party events taking place inside or that they will be the only TS open during the party? Everyone else is showing that they will be closed during the party.

I was wondering that too. Maybe they are cutting the CRT ADR time for non party goers to 6:40.

I agree that if the MNSSHP does well that there well could be an add on. However, the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party is already on MVMCP nights. Would they really have 2 dessert parties on MVMCP nights? I'm interested to see if it's some other kind of add on.

If they debuted an Olaf to interact with, like a PP mentioned, they could go $150-$200, and EVERY SINGLE SEATING will sell out on the first day. They'll have to hire more phone CM's to handle the call volume.

I'm praying to the Disney gods that they don't do this.

It's brilliant, they'll make a fortune and I'll have to schedule yet another last minute trip- and that will make 3 this year. I'm trying to figure out at what price I'd say no. That 1200 mile drive is getting longer and longer!

But I don't think there's any doubt there's going to be a special event. My bet is Frozen.

I have no problems with it, just please don't take elements of MVMCP out of the line up like they did MNSSHP.

Crazy stuff really. I mean, you can meet A&E for free so they are considering charging you $99/ea to meet Olaf and Kristoff? Sorry, not enough add on to warrant that cost. But, people have Frozen induced insanity so I have no doubts it will sell out. When those folks awaken from their temporary insanity they'll wonder what they heck they were thinking but hey, get them while they aren't thinking.

If a Frozen event happens, I know I couldn't do it. Our family, plus some others (8 total) can't swing an extra $800 on top of the already purchased MVMCP tickets. It just isn't going to happen for us! We will be just fine seeing other characters, rides and viewing the entertainment. And I just won't tell my kids.

I would be interested in a party like this if it started before 7pm. Like let's say dinner at the castle at 5:30pm with reserved parade viewing and fireworks spot sign me up but I know that will never happen since the restaurant is open to non party guests at this time. But I am not going to spend 99 dollars to miss the party i spent 70 bucks to attend.

I know the price is too much for many people, but I think that is the point. The castle can only hold a handful of people. By offering it during the party, the pool of potential purchasers is limited to those attending the party that night.

By charging more for it than the party, even fewer participate. Rather than charge $40 (for example) and having people upset when it sells out in 5 minutes, they charge a lot more and eliminate much of the rush. They just need to offer enough that those paying the higher price feel they got their money's worth.

Many people have said they'd pay twice as much to go to Disney if it meant not waiting in any lines. The dessert party is really just that on a smaller scale.

Talked with an IPO today and she seemed pretty sure that some kind of CRT dessert event is going to happen but no details yet. She said to just keep checking for an official announcement.

Excuse me, but just because you think it's insane doesn't mean that it is. We may do this, if it's offered. We would've done the Villains Soirée as well. I don't have Frozen temporary insanity, thank you very much. We have the money, and depending on the details, may decide it's worth it. People I've spoken with who attended the Villains Soirée said it was amazing.

That's actually a really good point. I didn't look at it that way..... The Halloween extra event was a bit different bc you could meet characters that weren't at the party.

It would be similar to the Soirée.

First seating at 10:00; second seating at 11:45.

I, for one, am THRILLED at this possibility. My kids are little (3 and 7), and this would be a dream come true. We aren't hardcore ride people (they would ride Ariel and Buzz all day long if they could - and that's what we usually do!) nor are we interested in meeting the "rare" party characters. An early seating at a Frozen dessert party would be just the perfect icing on the cake
