That's actually a really good point. I didn't look at it that way..... The Halloween extra event was a bit different bc you could meet characters that weren't at the party.

If they do this, I would fully expect them to make characters that used to be in the party "dessert party exclusive" like they did maleficent and the evil queen.

So - working backwards - you'd probably be looking at 9:30 fireworks, 8:15 parade? The reserved parade seating would be great. I think we'd do rides during the fireworks because my kids don't like the noise. We have never watched the fireworks from the park for that reason.

Yes, that's the reasoning behind the timing of the event. 10:00 to begin lining up at CRT with the seating at 10:15. First seating needs to leave at the end of the prescribed hour so the CMs can prepare for the second seating.

If it's only A&E, Kristoff, and Olaf...I might have to just not tell my kids about this and forget it's going on. I love throwing money at Disney, but even I can't justify $400 (for the 4 of us) to meet only two exclusive characters (Kristoff and Olaf) for an hour. Part of the issue would be having to take time out from the party to do this. Maybe if they threw Hans and the Duke of Weasleton in it might be worth it. I love Kristoff as much as the next person, but not for $400.

As long as you avoid the CRT area from 10:00 until 11:45, your kids would never know. You'd even have time to watch both parades and see all the Frozen characters twice that way. Although it will be pretty much what you saw Processional-wise at DHS this summer.

I'm 28 yrs old, no kids (don't want them!) and am going down for Halloween and first Christmas party just with my mom. If they offer a "frozen" party, I'd definitely be willing to buy tickets! I don't even care about the cost. If Olaf is there, count me IN!!

That's right! I did see those three in the movie... but, also thought I saw Tiana, too! It would be worth it if my favorite Flynn friend were still Flynn's friend.

Hadn't planned on MVMCP this year until I was told today that I should fly out to watch Mickey celebrating the season on Elsa's Castle stage! We shall see!

I'm torn. It's crazy expensive. And my kids might not even be awake by 10. Last year they fell asleep during the fireworks at MVMCP (they are 3 and 7). I have a hard time justifying the regular ticket price let alone this, with the potential they fall asleep again. These characters are more kid-popular so the late times worry me.

They took the princes away from MNSSHP and didn't replace them...FTH is the same during the day as it is during the party. There's no reason they couldn't put Aurora/Snow on one side and Cinderella/Rapunzel on the other like they used to.

This is cynical, I know..but after how they handled the announcement of the Soiree and the character changes to MNSSHP, I am not counting on anything to stay the same for MVMCP.

Yes, if you want to eat after 7:00 you would have to have a party ticket, not a park ticket.

This is scary. I have an impossible to get CRT ressie for 5:35 pm and the Tomorrowland Terrace at 8:30 for Dec 2 party night. Is this going to mess up my plans?

The CRT reservation is fine, the TT one isn't without a party ticket.

Thanks, I have party tickets. I should have said if they make a hart ticket event for party night on Dec 2. I have read of other last minute changes by WDW messing up reservations, or maybe people were just being melodramatic? I worked hard for what I've got, lol.

I, for one, am THRILLED at this possibility. My kids are little (3 and 7), and this would be a dream come true. We aren't hardcore ride people (they would ride Ariel and Buzz all day long if they could - and that's what we usually do!) nor are we interested in meeting the "rare" party characters. An early seating at a Frozen dessert party would be just the perfect icing on the cake

I'm right with you!!! We are doing the party on our last night, so we will have had plenty of time to do all of the rides over our 7 day stay! Plus we are leaving late the next day so we have a full half day at MK for any last minute rides. The only thing I'm worried about is the 10pm seating for our 3 year old. She's been able to hang that late at Disney before, but that's still a bit late. I'd just need to make sure she had a major nap that day. I know she'd love it and quite frankly, so would I. I also love the idea of reserved parade viewing.


I'll have to think about it. If we can get the 10pm seating, we'll do it, but 11pm is a no go!

I wish there was a way to do it at 7pm. I'm worried about the times too if it follows villains. You'd think they'd make it earlier since the rumored characters are more kid friendly, but logistically it may not work.

If they are to have the dessert party, anyone know what the usual timing of the release is? I called to ask what the "special ticketed event" showing on CRT reservation page on 11/14 is and was told it would probably be the dessert party with Christmas Belle. But it is getting close. When will they know and let us know?

Interesting...we're already going to the dessert party on the 14th, so I'm wondering if it would be an indoor dessert party at the same time? I wish she would be at the one I'm going to be at!
