Any talks about a hard ticket event inside mvmcp?

Does anyone think they will do something like the villains dessert party at mnsshp at mvmcp. I'm not thinking a villans dessert party but maybe they'll through some type of frozen dessert party? Seems like the trend... Or something along the lines of that?

If they do something Frozen related in the castle I'll be one of the loons shelling out the money if it's priced at $99. If they charge $150+, nope.

If they do this, it will have to either be with Frozen or Chrismas Belle, and they will have to take Anna and Elsa out of PFH for the event. In order to charge that much you have to give the guest something that has an aire of exclusivity. Even then, if it's Christmas Belle and Beast, $35 per ticket. If it's a Frozen party, $100 per person. If they debuted an Olaf to interact with, like a PP mentioned, they could go $150-$200, and EVERY SINGLE SEATING will sell out on the first day. They'll have to hire more phone CM's to handle the call volume.

Man, that would hurt if they put Christmas Belle in there. :( I was so sad when they took her out of the party a couple years back. They told me she couldn't appear because she was appearing in ETWB during the party. :lmao: I guess they're all about park standards until there are $$$$ involved! :rotfl2: That said, since she's already been gone for 2 seasons, she's probably a lot more fair game than the Villains were this year. I just found that move to be low and underhanded.

Still though, I don't know who they'd put will Belle for any sort of cohesive theme. Just princesses won't fly. That's what they do every day of the year. If they take the Princes out of the regular party and put them into a paid event, that's no better than what they did with the Villains. Although maybe there's enough pent up Flynn demand (after getting the boot from MNSSHP) maybe he could carry the night. I'll have to make sure we see him for "free" when we go to DL in December!

I usually don't mind paying extra for stuff, but we are a family of 5, so $500 for an hour or 2 event....no way!:upsidedow

We're going back to DL in March for Spring Break rather than go back to Orlando, and I'm looking very forward to that! I hope you have a great time in December.

Thanks! I hope you get some great photos with Maleficent at the Soiree!

I feel the same way, we usually will splurge on some extras for that small extra magic touch but if the pricing follows the pricing the same as the villans dessert party (if not more expensive) I think we would have to skip that. Paying just to attend the party is a lot for larger families, wish we could though if they do add something new, I love the idea but the pricing is just a bit to high I think everyone agrees on that.

Those are some interesting theories! I totally forgot about Christmas belle I guess I was in the frozen trend lol. Maybe they would do something at BOG with beauty and the beast characters instead of something in cinderellas castle. I have an interesting feeling though there might be something frozen related but maybe not!

You're forgetting Disney's moto "We Only Like Families of Four". Any more, or less, and you throw off their mojo and they don't want you onsite!!!

If they are to have the dessert party, anyone know what the usual timing of the release is? I called to ask what the "special ticketed event" showing on CRT reservation page on 11/14 is and was told it would probably be the dessert party with Christmas Belle. But it is getting close. When will they know and let us know?

I hope that they reconsider this hard ticketed event in a ticketed event thing but I admit that if it's Frozen I wouldn't personally care. I would run the other way! There could be some disappointed kids though...

Wow. If that's what they're going with I don't know if Belle can sell out the event like the villains can.

I was kind of thinking the same thing, that's the only reason I mentioned frozen. I know some people are fed up with the frozen craze but needless to say most of the kids still aren't lol. Although I did see some people mention they were upset about Christmas belle being taken away. I would also think maybe she would have a dessert party (if it happened) in BOG instead of CRT...

My biggest gripe with the hard ticket event inside the hard ticket event is the time taken away from the main hard ticket event. For DH and I we could afford the $99 but would we spend so much time at a small event would we miss much of the main event? The one review I read of the Villain hard event at MNSSHP commented greatly on the length of time it took. It was pretty much all the reviewer got done. That wouldn't fly with me.

That said, I'm sure if they can come up with something that they know would be popular they'll do it. I'm in the Frozen overload camp though. Those girls get everything and poor Rapunzel gets a potty. Her movie is tons more entertaining.

Now that I would pay for. But I'd need to see Belle and the Beast dance in the ballroom. And I'd want photos with Lumiere, Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts. :thumbsup2

But Belle in the castle with the other princesses? I can do that all day every day and get more for my money. Even if they threw in the princes, I'd be too mad at them taking them out of the party I already paid for to appreciate it.

I checked, and it's only showing the "special ticketed event" at CRT on party nights in November...no December. And it's also not showing on non-party nights in November, so it definitely looks like it's something associated with the party. I assume they're still loading info into MDE and once December is populated, they'll start selling tickets.

Nothing is showing under BOG for either November or December, so whatever is happening isn't happening there.
