Any Steelers fans?

Thanks to the Steelers for the win over Baltimore last week!! It opened the possibility of two AFC East teams getting into the playoffs this year. If my Fins don't win the division, they just might sneak in the back door.

I've loathed the Steelers since the '70s. They were the team that kept my team (the Houston Oilers) out of the Superbowl. I will admit that they were very worthy adversaries. Losing is never fun, but it is much better when you respect the team that beat you. I hated the Steelers, but I couldn't help but respect them.

For what it is worth, I cheer for the Steelers whenever they play Dallas.

I am doing my usual stuff before a playoff game. Wearing colors that are not Steeler or their opponent and not participating in any parties. If I wear black and gold, we lose. I have long been a supporter of the Steelers and this is my contribution to our winning.

We brought Isaly's bar-b-que sauce back with us from Pittsburgh after Christmas...hoping our deli will chip the ham!

I love the Steelers, Ohio does not have any professional football teams (ha ha) so I looked east of the border and found my team. I married an Steelers fan and gave birth to one. My 4 year old loves the Steelers and says Roethlisberger clearer than most other words. I will always miss Jerome, a total class act, and his bobble head is sitting on my desk agreeing with me right now.

We have a cat named Malu after Troy Polamalu. He was found at Heinz Field during a Steelers game 2 years ago and don't ask how he made the trip to Delaware but he was vaccinated and was put up for adoption where I volunteered. Of course I see him with his black fuzzy body and big yellow eyes and after reading his story, he came home with me the next night.

Not a Steelers fan, but I do like Jerome Bettis. I love football in general but my heart belongs to the Panthers. I will say good luck to the Steelers this weekend! You shouldn't have any trouble with the Chargers.

We don't have access to "real" Pittsburgh food, so we're making our own chili for the game. Yesterday I ordered a couple of 75% off items from Hickory Farms for upcoming game snacking, but my order won't be here in time for Sunday. There is a beer store nearby that might sell Iron City, and we might swing by to see if they have any. : )

Most of our family lives in Pittsburgh and they tell us that everyone is decked out in Black and Gold and that it is a party atmosphere. Someone up there eat a Primanti's sandwich for me, OK!? And enjoy the Isaly's chipped ham!
