Any "star" Sightings On Your Cruise

Elvis was on our 3 day Wonder cruise in July 2002....

with his daughters....

(I am not crazy ......You should have heard him sing..)

We did sneak a picture at CC with him in the background...

I was also on the cruise with Paige Davis and Patrick Page (her husband, also known as Scar from the Lion King Broadway show). It was a HUGE thrill for my DD who loves "Trading Spaces". She got an autograph and picture with Paige, which she proudly displayed when we returned home.

Duffy Waldorf, PGA professional, was on the Hurricane Frances shortened 9/4 sailing of the Magic. Of course, I bumped into him while wearing my Tiger Woods ballcap and Greg Norman polo shirt. He told me to get one of his ballcaps, and he would be glad to autograph it for me. He was a REALLY NICE GUY!!! :D

or should that be "inkkognito"???? :teeth:

Paige's real name is Mindy Paige Davis. (Maiden name) She actually auditioned for Trading Spaces as Mindy Davis, but they asked her to change to Paige instead.

Well, now that you ask...I am really Catherine Zeta Jones but I changed my name and voice to protect me from all the autograph hounds out there!!! LOL!!!!

October 16, 2004 sailing:

Steve Blanchard He is the BEAST in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. He signed autographes one day, I can't remember which day and on Castaway he was sitting right in front of us at the family beach. He had 2 young girls with him, I know one was his daughter since we saw her while waiting for an autograph.

We noticed some excitement in the Atrium Deck 3 area on our 3 day Wonder cruise, but didn't think anything of it. On our last night we ate at Palos and booked for 6:00pm. The CM who greeted us at the door had said that we would be dining next to some one quite well known and asked if we would be OK with it. It ended up being Ricki Lake from TV daytime shows. We sat next to her in the curved booths at the stern of Palos. She had her family, young daughter and Nanny, also a couple of body guard or security type people with her. :smooth:

During dinner we thought of asking for autographs, but thought it be best not to disturb her. But we did our share of GO RICKI< GO RICKI!!!! chants.

We were on with Jimmy Carter and his extended family for New Years Eve, 2001 right after 9/11 so security was pretty tight. He gave a speech and took questions one day. We kept bumping into him waiting for elevators and lining up for dinner. Really nice guy.
We were also on last New Years eve and heard about Andie McDowell but didn't see her anywhere.
Someone who played Puumba on broadway was on too and did a Q&A one afternoon at sea.

Last January 10th cruise there was Kevin Nash a former wrestler from the World Wrestling Entertainment on board.

Now I am jealous, I was a huge fan of Kevin Nash!

Did he want to sail over to Cuba to give Fidel a big hug? :p

So her name is actually Paige Page?
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Their wedding was featured on "A Wedding Story" (go figure. TLC "synergy" or, more accurately, shilling at work) and she made a joke about her name becoming (NOT) Paige Page. I don't know why that stuck with me ...

I was standing in the lobby during the Captain's gala sipping on my non-alcoholic drink when this 7 foot, big man walked by me. I was too stunned to say anything but after he was halfway up the steps my DW asked him if he was a wrestler. I remembered his name then but never saw him again:smooth:
