Any "Special" Events Between Nov 28 - Dec 4?

I know that the Pop Warner group is scheduled to be in the World starting Dec 5-11, so I am wondering if there might be any special event the week before?

We were there last year during Pop Warner, and although it wasn't a problem for us, I am wondering if the week before may actually be a better choice for the crowds? I know I don't have to worry about the resort (we are at AKL) but I did notice more crowds at MGM (especially) last year.

If anyone knows about a special group going that week before, I would appreciate hearing about it! THANKS!

Crowds are very similar for those two weeks - light! We've been at both times and have not noticed any difference. I see no reason to base your vacation dates on crowds.

Believe Mousefest (internet meet) is scheduled for 12/11 this year, but again, I don't think enough attend to make that a reason to change your vacation plans. (In fact, wish I could change mine to attend)! We've been during other internet meets scheduled during this time and have not noticed any increase in crowds.

FWIW, the Pop Warner kids don't seem to have much impact on the parks either - we wouldn't even have noticed they were there had I not read these boards. We do not stay at the on site value or moderate resorts, though.
