The team does not randomly pick people, the computer picks locations and times. This makes it fair for everyone traveling alone, with kids, adults only, doesn't matter it is not a person looking for you. With the prizes like the lanyards, ears, fastpasses they are given out in bulk so the team will get a slip that says something like At 9:30 issue 50 Dream Fastpasses to the guests loading Dumbo. At exactlly 9:30 they will be at the Dumbo turnstile issuing the passes to the next 50 people that come through. If it is a big prize it will be VERY specific. It will say at 2:20pm issue Castle Stay (or whatever) to the guest in row 4 left seat on the Rockin Roller Coaster. The train to come into the statino AT or just after 2:20 that person in row 4 left seat will be the winner. If there is no one in that seat, they will put the prize back into the computer to be distributed at a new time and location later in the day (or just later if it is not a day specific prize).

So your travelin party really has nothing to do with how the prizes are won. Single, family reunion, Adults, kids... everyone is fair game....

In my opinion it's just the fact of being at the right place at the right time. It's not something you can predict.

I can say that I've had two ten day vacations since the promotion started, both solo, and I haven't won anything at all yet. I'm hoping the magic kicks in while I'm there in September.

I was part of a group receiving dream FPs in January. This was at Soarin' about 10:00 am. The dream squad gave them to everyone in line, they didn't know who was solo or with a huge group.

In December i won fast pass necklace at Innoventions. Every person in the class building a robot got them and it didnt matter if we was single in a group or kids or adults.

Then in Disneyland last April we got Mickey hats as we exited Pinnochio ride. They gave to every single person that exited that ride no matter if adult or kid.

I would day its totally random and you increase your odds just riding early in the morning. We use to be leasure about our start of the day and eat breakfast in the park but thats time we could be riding ;-) and getting dreams. LOL


One thing in common our two times was they was both less traveled places at that time we was there. I dont know if that was coinsidence or does the computer pick out less busy places.
