Any Solo "Family" 11/8 - 11/15

I'll be going to the world 11/8 - 11/15 for my first solo trip. I'll be staying at POR, and was wondering if there were any gay or gay friendly folk that would be interested in hanging out?

Hey, Gnome! Sorry, but it looks as if this family traveller will be there about two weeks after you. I'm doing the same thing... hoping to find a few people to hang out with while I'm there. Of course, I know I'll have a great time either way. I've done the whole solo disney thing before, and had a blast. Actually met a really fun group of people during Cast Member night over at Pleasure Island, and got together with them the next day for a very bleary-eyed brunch!

Well sorry that we won't be ther at the same time Richard, It would have been nice to hang out with you! I'll be staying at POR as well!!

This will be my first trip alone and I'm sure I'll have an excellent time! I plan on going to Mannequins on Thursday night. The last I heard was that it was Gay night on Thursdays.

Hey, Brad. Yeah, THursday night is definitely gay night (officially, it's called Cast Member night, but they two kinda go hand-in-hand...)

Actually, if your looking for fellow team-players, Mannequins is really the place to go on just about any night, since that's where we seem to naturally gravitate. A few years ago, I was travelling with my friend Eric and we headed over there on a Tuesday, I think it was, and went up on the catwalk to watch the dance floor from above (which is SO much fun... I love watching people, especially after a couple drinks, stumble on and off the rotating floor). We met a really nice "family" couple who happened to be from New York City (I live just outside NYC, Eric is from Philly) who knew all the same places I hang out at back home. And as the night went on, we wound up meeting quite a few other teamsters until we had a pretty decent-sized group of us.

Maybe it's a sign of age, but I actually prefer the music over at Motion (it's a little more top 40, less techno, which ain't really my bag).

Either way, it's a guaranteed good time!

Brad, I will be there from 11/2-11/15. I am traveling with two friends on 11-2 thru 11-10, then will be solo until I fly home on the 15th.
