Not that I'm aware of, Tink's Tormentor. However, we are having so much fun in chat. If it happens that I meet my Disney mate, then I'll be thrilled. If not, I'm enjoying conversing with those that share some of my same interest. Hope to see you around chat soon.

I'm Sandra, 26, and I live in Brussels, Belgium (yeah, that's the other side of the ocean, I know )

During the day, I do my job in an IT department (yeah right, who am I kidding, I read disboards instead of working, lol!), and during my spare time I play golf, I go to musicals and I spend lots and lots of time to Disney!! I participate on different message boards like this one, I browse eBay for new collectibles to buy, I listen to the CDs, etc etc etc. You ALL know what I am talking about!

I have never been married, no kids, no dog, no cat... it's just me. How come? Well, I am looking for someone who is about 10-15 years older than I am (sorry, I don't feel attracted to men of my age), and the men in that age category are not too fond of Disney... at least here they aren't.

Now, I don't desperately need someone who is as Disney-crazy as I am, but I need someone who lets me being Disney-crazy. Someone who understands I need my "Disney-fix" at least once a year (a couple of times a year is even better), someone who doesn't care that there is Mickey on the china, on the towels, on the bedsheets, ...

Next week, I'll be at WDW for the very first tim in my life, after having been quite some times to Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.

Oh, yes, English is "only" my fourth language, after Dutch, French and German, so I do make spelling errors, and I do have an accent. Just see it as part of my charm!!

Will there be a "singles" meet somewhere between May 5-10? That are my park days, and it would be great to meet new people!!!
Can someone PM me in case there is already a time and place? No idea whether I'll be able to read the thread until the end (only on page 10 right now)

Wow! I finished reading all 56 pages of this thread. What a fun group you guys are.

Here are my stats. I am a DWF, age 42 with two cats and dog. I think I am a 7 on the Disney scale. Last year I took my first adult trip to DisneyWorld and it was a solo trip. I had so much fun. I kept wondering why I hadn't gone before then. Of course then I remember the ex and he definitely would not have gotten it. I had brunched at Crystal Palace and had my picture taken with Pooh and his friends. Definitely can imagine what ex's reach would have been.

I wish I could go in May and meet all you DIS'ers. Can't wait to hear all the details from eveyone's upcoming trips.

Welcome. Yes there will be a DISmeet on May 10 at 8 p.m. at JellyRolls (Boardwalk). You might also want to check http://www.dismates.com The singles Disney nuts normally are in chat there every night at 9 p.m. (eastern standard time).

Long time IT guy thats from Raleigh, NC. Single, never been married and no kids (that I know of right now).

I will be at the contemporary from May 13th to the 19th for part of a business trip/mini-vacation. Unfortunately I will miss the mini-DisMEET on the 10th.

I understand the dilemma of chatting from Europe. I travel quite frequently to Switzerland, and that 6 hour difference throws everything off. But it is nice being here!

But also am not in dismates and also don't have a clue as how chatting works. Maybe one day. But feel free to pm if you would like.

For those of you who haven't ventured into a chat room of *any* sort yet, I can assure you the that dismates one is very, very easy to use. The only problem is that if there are lots of people in there (which is a good thing, really!) sometimes there is a lag between sending your message and having it show up for others to read. As to the time-difference...although there are a bunch of us who usually show up around 9 in the evening, the chat feature is available 24/7, so round up a few friends in a compatible time zone and try it out...Sandra, I'd be happy to pop in at a time that's more congenial to your time zone so you can try it out and who knows, there may be a whole other group of people who'd prefer to chat at what is, in my time zone anyway, mid-day.
