Any Single Disney Men Out There?

I'm a single 27 year old Disney guy. I just did a solo trip in Feb. and really want to go back this december. Actually, I'm thinking of doing the platinum package at either Wilderness Lodge or Beach Club the second week of December. I can't for the life of me find a girl who appreciates Disney as much as I do. Most people just don't get what makes Disney so special and magical. At work everyone teased me about going solo. I'm comfortable in saying that I'm a pretty good looking guy, but finding that right girl who likes the same things I do just doesn't seem to be happening. If there's any single girls out there anywhere near the Chicago area, drop me a line. It'd be nice to find someone as obsessed with Disney as I am.

on a side note...while I was in Disney someone got hurt on the Peter Pan ride. Well, apparently they first reported it as a 28 year old guy in Disney by themself. Needless to say when I got back to work, it was non-stop teasing as everyone assumed it was me! LOL

single 23 yr old disney guy here. Probably also fall into the category of "Canadian born and raised on the wrong side of the border" ... hockey crazy, and someone today even told me that my accent sounds canadian. (granted, on certain words, it does, but I'm not from Canada)

21 year old who agrees theres no disney guys--Everyone at work and my college thinks im crazy for loving Disney so much..
nice to see there are guys that like disney!

Hi Ya'll!!!

I have a difference of opinion on mickeysbestfriends' assessment of my Disneyfication....(see Post #35 for the scale)

EVERYONE around here knows me as the "Disney Queen" and I have sent Bunches of people to Disney with helpful hints....One tribe TOOK the notes
to each park.

SO....Since people are rating themselves....I would have to go with a 12.
Looking forward to the day that I can live in the Mouse's backyard and visit daily!!!

Sometime in the Fall might be good to meet....everyone's schedule may be clearer that way????

Have a Magical Day!!!

Posted this trying to track when people might go.

The pattern seems to be...
January for Marathoners & MLK, May for F & G and Memorial Day...and possibly a lead-in to gaydays, September...for reasons that really escape me except its cheap, roasting and hurricane season, October for MNSSHP and F & W, December for Mousefest and Christmas.

September because of the low crowds and reasonable weather. Other than hurricanes which you can't reason with. Just after Thanksgiving though mid-December is also great as is Christmas but the crowds get more...crowded.

I'll chime in as an Illinois Disney guy, 40 (41 soon). 7 on the scale. Married at Disney once. Have managed to visit regularly the past number of years. DVC member. Thinking of hitting Mousefest this year...vacation time permitting!

I joked earlier that I was a Universal Guy. Thats true, but of course I'm a fan of Disney too. WDW isn't my favorite (give me Disneyland over any of WDW's parks any day!) but I still love the parks. It sucks though, my pass recently expired (I live enar Tampa, so I'm not too far away) and I don't have the money to renew. I'm 25 years old, but only for 2 more weeks (ugh!)

I'll chime in as I'd love to meet even adult Disney friends...someone to share the magic of all things Disney who won't think I'm just nuts.

I'm 40 currently, but will be turning 41 very soon and yes, I will be at Disney to do it...just like I was a Disney for my 40th. - I'd put myself at about 8 on Mickeysbestfriend's scale and I am also from Ohio too like Mickeysbestfriend. :wave2:

I'm single, never married, no kids...unless you count my two nieces and nephew who I am busily ensuring will also be lifelong Disney fans (since I can't trust their parents to do this)

I LOVE Disney and would gladly go there on every vacation. I actually love all things Disney. My sister is appalled at how often she calls my house to find me listening to one or another of my Disney CD's or watching a Disney movie. I also have a nice collection of Disney posters/lithographs...mostly of WDW and a small, but growing pin collection.

I'm not sure about actually moving closer to the Mouse, we have are snow here in Ohio, but I think I might even prefer that to the summer heat and humidity of Orlando. I go to WDW in the "off times" and actually have never been in June, July, August or September.

Who's next? :goodvibes

Its 2:30 and I just wrote an very charming post....alas I erased it when I tried to add a picture...ladies can you help a fellow out here, how do you add pics to a post.......I swear I post another charming message tommorrow !!!!!

BTW SWM, 33, 9.5 on disno-meter ( ah who am i kidding it 2:30 and im on the dis) oK Ok 10 on the disno-meter

Shawn

The more the merrier, right... ;-)

Anyway, I'm a 31 yo single dad from Cincinnati who hasn't been "home" in far too long, but I'm addicted to the Dis to stave off the withdrawal symptoms (it's not the Dole Whip cravings that get me, it's the spontaneously breaking out into song during business meetings that's the problem... shhh) Looking for someone that won't roll her eyes when it's time to plan a vacation and I pull out my well worn Passporters and Unofficial Guides. Come on, is it really THAT odd to keep them in a permanent spot on my nightstand so that I can grab a quick peek whenever I can't sleep? :confused3

I'd have to rate myself a 10 on the scale, if only because the first thing that comes to mind whenever the lottery gets big is wondering how many points it would take to rent a Grand Villa for a year.. ;-)

You have to put the pictures in a site like imagestation.com...then once they are uploaded there, right click the picture and click "properties"--Copy the URL on that screen then come back to the DIS

put

I think thats how to explain it!

For those of you who like to listen to Disney music and miss WDW as much as I do when I'm away, have you ever heard of live365.com? For those of you who don't know about it, I have to pass on my knowledge! :teeth: It's basically an online "radio" with lots of stations, but the coolest is that if you search for "disney", there are tons of stations! Lots of them play music from the rides, the park areas, the shows, even the monorail!! It's like being there!! Ok, yes, I'm a Disney nerd.........I admit it! :sunny:

If only there was a test.....

How would you rate a potential mate on a 1-10 Disney scale?

1) Hates Disney
2) Doesn't hate it but it's like pulling teeth to get them there.
3) tolerates it begrudgingly and nit picks everything
4) is okay with it but when given an option prefers other places
5) Is okay with it but only once every few years
6) Will go but wants to do Universal, Sea World, Bushe Gardens etc.
7) Goes willingly and will do almost anything
8) Totaly gets into Disney on almost every level. A day without Disney is like a day without magic.
9) Is into Disney on EVERY level...sells children to get in another trip.
10) If you won the lottery you would LIVE in Disney World and have your own personal mouseum!

Feel free to make changes :)

Just to make this easier.

I'm a DVCer and have a pretty flexible schedule but I prefer the value season because I love to get a few rounds of golf in while I'm experiencing the magic!

So, the biggest challenge is how to match up people going at the same time. Setting up a time and place to meet and maybe have a drink and a get to know you chat. Keep in mind you can us the PVT message feature on here to communicate if you aren't comfortable doing it in the room.

Yes, Ladies, I can attest to the fact that mickeysbestfriend IS the ultimate Disneynut!

He is also sweet, caring and a total Prince Charming.

Let's ALL do Disney this Fall!!!!

Have a Magical day!

Ok, I guess it's time for me to get in on this.

I'm a 30 (almost 31, ugh) year old single female who loves Disney and would love to find a Disney Prince! My sis and I (and usually several friends) hit WDW AT LEAST twice per year, sometimes 3 or 4. We'll be heading to DL in September of this year for the Inaugural Disneyland Half Marathon (and our first time in Cali). I live in Frederick, MD.

LadyyRedd,

... All those single and available Disney Princesses. ;)

Now see, all you guys keep saying a "Disney Princess". Is that my problem? I seem to be more of a Queen than a Princess. :teeth:

My Disney planning books are never far from reach either.

It is nice to see that I'm not the only one who thinks of a nice long trip to WDW when it comes time to dream about a big lottery win.
