Any Single Disney Men Out There?

My co-workers (who already thought I was nuts, now fully believe it)...I almost spit my very expensive Starbucks Vanilla Latte all of over my desk, at the VS comment.

Believe it or not I have seen this happen...

When it comes to DISNEY things, I can shop with the best of them and WOD is awesome but I go into every shop in BVV. I love wandering through all the main street shops too. I find most of my golf shirts at the courses but a few have been garnered at WOD. I love it when I find a half price deal and they have my size.

Any shopping other than that I'm a speed shopper. I know exactly what I am going after, get it and am gone. If a woman wants me to go shopping with her, fine, as long as their is a pub next to where she will be. I do wander into Vistorias Secret and Fredricks. Nothing warms my cockles more than having a complete stranger (woman) ask me, "how do I look in this" when I am in there....

LOL...most of the guys I have seen in VS...always to me anyway, look really uncomfortable....but yet this still go...why is that?

I make an innocent comment and the thread takes off like a wildfire...

but seriously ladies....if you have to wonder why a guy would go into one of those places....

My ex used to take me in there and her reasoning was that since I was the one who would be seeing what she was buying (I used to think the only one) that it was my opionion that mattered, not some sales girl or another woman.

While I was in there (since there were so few men in there) I was called upon to give my opinion of how garments looked on every other gal that walked out of the dressing rooms. I rather enjoyed it.....

ok I know why the average red blooded guy goes in there...I'm not that silly. Its just the ones that look really uncomfortable...and almost annoyed at being dragged in there....maybe its just the one I go to.

Moving on....I asked this question on dismates a few nights ago...thought maybe it would be fun to ask it here.

Maybe it's different in Cleveland but I have never.. ever... EVER seen a woman ask a man they don't know how an OUTFIT looks on them let alone something in vic's secret. *** is wrong with these women? Seriously.. can you SCREAM any louder for attention?

I also don't bring my man panty or lingerie shopping. I'd rather surprise him with it after a night out. Why let him decide... just surprise him with something fun.. model at home.. it's so impersonal shopping for it.

I think I"d stay in the contemporary the room with the view of the castle.


Speaking of this... a family in a nearby town won something where they had the whole park to themselves... the pic in today's paper showed them looking surprised in front of the camera. I guess offshot over 100 characters jumped out and surprised them. HOW COOL IS THAT!

lol I was just at WDW but made a side trip to see my ex nearby before... 30 Years ago we had that same thing...I go in...try on pretties...he gets a show...later pics in the pretties...well on my visit last week , he had a bunch of pics sitting up on his mantle...what do I find? Me all dressed up...or partially....what a shock that was...and he tells me all who come to see him, are shown this pic...lol but have to admit...ah the memoriesssssss lolol

I'm thinking they think someone is going to look at them like they are a pervert. I've shopped there enough times with and without women; so it doesn't bother me anymore. The sales clerks are almost always really nice to guys, and very good looking. Two positives in my book.

If money were no object where on property would you stay?

OK, my first inclination was to say the Royal Suite at AKL, but honestly, even if it were someone *else's* money I don't think I could let myself be that extravagant. So, a concierge room at AKL and maybe the anonymous benefactor funding this fantasy would throw in dinner @V&A because I chose to be so thrifty.

No matter how rich I get, I would never waste money like that. Now if I WON it from Disney (I do think they owe me) (I'd want to be at Grand Floridian in the honeymoon suite (Castle view), but not ALONE.

Personally, if I wasn't a DVC member, and it was my money...Port Orleans Riverside is my choice. For some reason I have ALWAYS loved the atmosphere and I've stayed at every non DVC venue on property. Contemporary needs some serious face lifting and upgrading. I love the Poly too but only if I have a Disney Wench with me.

at 20...I was one with nature...didn't bother me in the least to have my pic taken...now at 50 I'm still one with nature....and nature only...no one I care to share that side of me with... but one still hopes I'll find an old hippie like myself who also has a love for the Dis as well.....I can still dream...
