Any Single Disney Men Out There?

Worst date: It was between 9/11/2001 and when we invaded Iraq. The gentleman (I use the term loosely here) was chaldean and from Iraq. As we sat at dinner he made the following statements:

1. Saddam should be given sainthood for keeping drugs out of Iraq. If you were even found with drugs or suspected in anyway, you were shot in the head. Result, no one did drugs.

2. Boys that grow up without fathers become theives, vagrants or murderers. (I am a single Mom, with a son... no father in the picture)

3. All single women over 35 were desperate and useless to society.

My responses:

1. "So, if I were upset with you and made a phone call or worse yet, planted drugs on you... you would be shot in the head no questions asked?" He said yes. I said... "So, is that fair...no trail? No way to defend yourself?" He said yes... because if he was foolish enough to be around someone that was into drugs (which I AM NOT!!) then he deserved to be shot in the head.

2. I asked him if he forgot about the little boy in the high chair that was at my house, with a sitter... when he picked me up? He said "Oh, I didn't mean YOUR son!"

3. I had just turned 40, but have always looked a lot younger!

What did I do? I called a friend, told them where to find me and promptly left him sitting in the restaurant after I told him that his statements had made me sick to my stomach and I couldn't even stand to allow him to give me a ride home. :furious:

That guy's a nutcase. He's going to be very lonely for a very long time. ;)

Oh, I meant to add earlier that I'll be meeting another DISer soon, myself. Should be fun.

Thanks. I *thought* so...but we all know how easy it is to "misread" online conversations. :rolleyes1 ...we now return to our customary not-so-controlled chaos. :dance3: :joker:

I can't think of a worst date. But I have a friend who was out with a guy when the police pulled them over and arrested him! He asked the cops if he could give her a kiss before they took him off to jail. (It turned out to be mistaken identity - it was actually his brother they were after.) That would be my idea of a worst date ever.

My worst date that led to the police station...

I was asked to go to the local coffee shop with a person from class for a "study date" which to me meant nothing romantic. He hinted that he'd like to get to know me better and sent plenty of signals that I just wanted to be friends and study buddies. He invited me to one of his fraternity's parties but he didn't pick me up or anything, I was just going to see him there. When I got there,I said hi to my friend from calss and I started dancing with this guy and left a few hours later.

When I got home, my "friend" from class had IMed me 100 times calling me the worst names you could ever call someone..and that he was going to shoot me. Let's just say..I called the cops. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: sad and quite scary

Some scary stories.

Makes ya wonder if martial arts defense classes should be mandatory before dating.

I just got back from WDW and have to say I had a dream of a vacation. I also went to the NFFC convention and met Cheshire Figment there..and yes his rep. of a dirty old man is still intact lol but he is a wonderful person and great tour guide.THANKS MIKE!!!!I got to meet and have dinner with(elbow close) the original TinkerBell and spoke with her for 3 hours. What a cute lady she is and still so "animated" at 77!!! Talking about dreams coming true!!! I had such a great SOLO trip!!...dinner at Jiko's and talking with the Chefs, MNSSHP, Food and Wine Fest, meeting artists, sculptors, writers...the Voice of Jiminey Cricket and heard so many interesting stories and laughed til I cried....i also met quite a few DISers but don't remember everyone's names. Though a brit named REBUXT comes to mind...he was a nice fellow from across the big water lol!Now I'm counting down my days until I go back in Dec. I saved the "treasure hunt" for my gf and I to do together...Segway Tour, dinner at Prime time...and who knows what other fun we shall find...DJ pirate: princess: :thumbsup2 :joker:

Well ya see...apparently, there was a precedent set for this type of activity by some members of this board..(modesty prevents me from naming names)...but suffice it to say, I missed the "presentation" because I was left at the airport waiting to go.... :guilty: :confused3 :furious:
