Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

The number can be found in 2 places. On your Magical Express yellow luggage tag or its listed on the Magic Band page after you customize and order your bands.

Well, that's definitely not where I got mine, but the Magic Band page is a pretty easy way to get it.

Random question for those that have had their bands shipped? Has anyone had bands shipped without completing online check in? Should I complete online check-in in hopes that it will prompt shipping?

I did do the online check in. I think everyone did the online check in.

Customized bands on Friday. Received email notice today they have been shipped. According to tracking number package should arrive this morning at 10:30 AM.

Also, I did not do online check in. I spoke to IT department at Disney on Friday. They ordered and helped customize once they confirmed that we were testers.

I'm checking in to POR September 5th and just received it at 5:15pm Monday by UPS delivery. I also received an email at 2:05pm with the same exact information (reservation number removed). See prior post for pictures.

I did online check in Wednesday, FP+'s completed on Thursday and did the Magic Bands on Friday. I expected Mickey mail today (Monday) (and it was right on time, so to speak), since today is 17 days prior to check in Sept 5th.

As of right now my magic bands say they are shipping soon. I have heard that they may arrive about the same time that changes! I should get them in one or two days. I will report immediately!

5:15am this morning received the shipping email! (I was not sitting up all night waiting for it, honest!) When I checked, MDE in the Magic Bands area says simply, "Shipped to TIMOTHY WILLIAMS."

Now I'll see how long it takes. (Yawn)

I am hoping someone here can either confirm my thoughts or offer some advice on how to handle this...I'm staying at POR, my dates are 9/28 - 10/05. I was able to do the re-check in trick & then customize my magic bands . I was not able to select any FP+ options.

I had an issue with the bands when I customized - my DBF & DD were switched. On the first page it would show DBF name, then when I clicked to customize it, that page showed DD name. I customized & saved, then summary page shows DBF name, but under the magic band, shows DD name - wires got crossed somewhere...I'm not going to call IT right now b/c I haven't received an official invite yet & doubt they'd help me at all without that - is that reasoning correct or should I call? I was hoping I could just customize them as is & just have the privileges added/changed when we check in at POR front desk - can this be done or is this an IT issue that should be resolved before they ship...?

FWIW - the site said I had until Aug 28th (30 days out) to customize my bands, but if the invites are going out at 18 days prior, I may not be able to get IT to help before they ship, if I'm correct in thinking they won't help w/o an official invite....

And right now the system won't allow FP+ bookings after the 28th (except for a couple people that seem to be the exception, lucky ones!). In waiting to see if they extend the test since I am staying until October 5th.

I customized mine on Sunday afternoon and received a shipping notice this morning.

I now have the option to "deactivate" the Magic Bands. Does anyone know why I would want to do this and if I should???

Sigh.

Leaving in 39 days.
12 days left to customize bands before they are finalized (I'm assuming).
Still no FP+ or BoG for 9/29 or after.

And don't buy tickets for two families on separate MDE accounts and attempt to link them to everyone online. Half of ours are lost in cyberspace, not able to be accessed until guest services at the resort can straighten them out in person.

Can anyone else not track their UPS shipment yet? My tracking number begins with the letters CAE and doesn't have a shipment history yet. It is confirmed that it is shipping to the US address that I specified when prompted by MDE.

Customized Friday and woke up to an email saying they were shipped.
UPS site reports they are out being delivered in Austin and expect by 10:30 am.

Can hardly contain the excitement!!


AND - in 3 weeks exactly we will be boarding our plane for MCO!!!!

Customized Sunday. At my door at 10:30 today. Still haven't gotten my Mickey Mail, but at least I got my Magic Bands.

Staying at Pop 9/12-9/19. Me and the DBF are pretty excited to be beta testers, especially because we like to beta test video games all the time lol!

We are going Sept 1-10 and doing a split stay at AOA and BCV. We received our invite in yesterday's mail however we do not plan on doing it.

I am sure it is shipping just fine, I just can't seem to track it properly. Calling Disney IT to see if there is another number I can track.
