Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

The way I understand it from reading experiences on here, is that as long as your stay begins at a hotel that is included in testing, you should be able to pick FP+ choices for the length of your stay, regardless of where you end your stay on property.

This is the correct one. If you have one day at a test resort first you can make FP+ reservations through the whole stay. Provided everyone in the party has tickets for the length of the stay.

I've been thinking about adding a day at a test resort myself. We're staying at ASSp, but an extra day at Pop at the beginning is sounding pretty fantastic..

so this morning i bookeded one night in Pop Century check in 05/09 and right now i can make FP+ Selection and Magic Band for all my stay (I will be in All Star Movies check in 06/09)

But like i live in France the Magic Band will be ship to Pop Century so i cannot cancel my reservation if i want to have them

i think i'm going to keep this reservation and cancel the night in MCO Hyatt instead

so if you resort is not participing and you really want to try FP+ and Magic Band add a night in Pop

Our dates are August 30-September 7- seriously thinking of switching resorts to play with these things and check them out. But wonder if checking in August 30th would knock me out of the testing for the resort I'm looking at since it seems to be a September resort.

Which resort is it? Checking in at the end of August I believe your choices are Pop Century, Animal Kingdom Jambo, Yacht Club (not beach), and Contemporary.

Many of the new resorts for Sept don't start till the 3rd or 4th. I know one girl checking in PoR on the 2nd is not getting them. :-(

Question: the package is under hubby name but all the FP+ and dinner ADRs are under mine and everything is linked to my account. Does it have to be under his name to be able to get the MB?

Strange thing is we are linked on my account but not on his?

ETA: Called and they said as long as we are in same room its all good and a reservation can only be linked to one acct..

Checking in to BCV 9/6 and was able to set everything up last night - ordered Magic Bands and made FP+ selections for our one park day. I was also able to make BOG lunch selections and check-in time a few weeks ago, much to my surprise. Didn't think we'd get to try it out based on what I'd read about participating hotels, but stubbornly kept trying. I'll believe it with the MB's arrive in the mail! I'm not loving the times - was planning the evening at Epcot and one of our times is during a dinner reservation. I can't seem to change the time, just the attraction. I'll deal with it when we get there - or forfeit that one. Interested to hear others' experiences as well.

(I'm in marketing and always interested in trying something new like this but I am secretly afraid it's going to complicate our quick trip.)(OK, but I hope not!).

Hi! You can have it shipped to your actual hotel by including your arrival date and your actual booking # in the adress. You actually put the hotel adress as your adress.. You have to edit your shipping adress, that's all I did have stuff shipped to my hotel in the past and it worked great... They charged 3$ for handling (wich is not bad at all I'm Canadian and I just had my MB shipped to my hotel (not the POP......) )))))))

After you ordered the MB the web page will say something like your MB are being made and will ship soon. Two days later I got the email that your MB have shipped, and they arrived the same day. Just give it a couple of days. It will happen.

I'm staying at the Poly the second week in Sept. I have made my FP+ reservations, but it's not letting me customize the bands yet. I'm sure it's coming soon as it says both my husband and I are elegable for MB.

Just tried this, it appears to have worked for me!

I had to modify the check -in first. When the online check -in was complete the new personalize magic bands appeared.

Re do the online check in. I did this and they became available to customize name and colours immediately.
