Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

I am not normally interested in character meets or parades, but logged back in to check our options, and all I can say is now things popped in on certain days that were not there before.

During our stay the availability of the options varies by day. I have rides, shows, parades, character meets, and fireworks depending on the day and what park.

I was lamenting not being able to book Fantasmic as a FP+ option, but I just double checked and on 1 day out of our stay it now available as an option (none of the other days - I did check the park hrs schedule and it is being performed on the other days, just no FP+ availability).

I have to assume that the availability is subject to change, so keep checking back?

Starting only today, I was able to book 3 fast passes under fastpass plus per day for Sept 19-23. However, there was only one group to choose from in each park and no parades, shows, or quick services were included. Also, no Haunted Mansion. PORT ORLEANS RIVERSIDE Garden View

Since nobody can actually see MagicBands and are just able to book FP+ (which are tied to tickets) my new theory this evening is that only those with tickets attached to MDE are getting FP+ I wonder if ALL resorts have been rolled out, and we'll wake up tomorrow morning to MagicBand prompts?? Can anyone confirm my theory? For those that are unable to view FP+ do you have tickets attached?

Sadly I can disprove that theory (for the moment). I have tickets attached to MDE but I am not able to access FP+

However, I, like you, am hopeful that ALL resorts are being rolled out!

Much to my surprise, I found I was able to make FastPass+ reservations today - I accidentally clicked on it when I meant to make a Dining Reservation, and voila, there it was!

No MagicBand on my account yet. It would be a nice bonus for the overall experience, but I'm pleased to just be able to make the FastPass reservations. Now I don't have to plan to race ahead of the wife and kiddo to each attraction to make sure we can get on the "big rides" that day with relative ease.

Surprised to see that they don't seem to allow reservations later in the evening. Maybe because there's less need for them then?

I have my annual pass attached. My DH and DD do not have tickets for our September trip. When we went in December we had some issues and they made the 3 park days we didn't use into non-expiration tickets basically. I have to pick them up at guest services.

Hi, new to this board but not to disney. so psyched to read all your posts and know that I am not alone in this anguish! staying at POP 9/2-9/6. was able to book fastpass+ as of yesterday morning and magicbands around noon. the cast members I spoke to were shocked by this and kept telling me it was no guaruntee they would be valid. I even got an email stating:

Please keep in mind, although you were able to customize MagicBands, as
well as make FastPass+ selections, these selections may not be valid
for your upcoming vacation. The current test for MyMagic+ extends
through August 31, 2013. I would recommend keeping an eye on your inbox
however, as if the testing is to be extended and your reservation meets
the criteria for the test, you will receive an e-mailed invitation to
participate!

today it looks like my magic bands are being prepared to ship but have not recieved a shipping notice. Another CM told me that once I have them in my hand not to worry any more, they will work. has anyone from september arrivals actually gotten a band shipping notice?

When I see emails like "the current test only runs until August 31, 2013" it gives me hope that they will conduct a full scale test for September! After all it is a fairly slow time of year and with F&W and the Holidays approaching it would be an ideal opportunity to see the full capabilities of MagicBands before the crowds settle in.

We arrive September 7 staying at ASMu. I was wondering if any September guests have been invited to test FP+. I keep checking my Magical Experience to see if I may have a notice but so far nothing.

I just finished my fast pass plus. I'm staying at Port Orleans Riverside September 20-27 and also there is a chance that I may get to test the magic bands.

We're at Poly 9/13-21. I logged in today for my daily check of My Disney Experience, and was finally given the option to do all Fast Passes for the whole trip, but no Magic Bands-although it was telling me to link them to my reservation. I ended up calling the # and the woman said as of this time Poly isn't in on it I'm hopeful it will be added.

We didn't decide on all of our FP+ this evening because we want to involve our kids and they were getting ready for bed (& I was sitting there yelling YEAH!!!! And my husband was like BE QUIET!! I said DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS, lol), BUT it did include things like character meets. Last year, we were a part of a pilot and got to do FP+ and chose Winnie the Pooh, viewing Wishes from the Rose Garden, VIP access to another parade that's escaping me right now but my 4 yo loved it. We also chose Splash Mountain. When I showed my husband all the ones we are able to choose he was like "we can't do this right now" almost methodically stressed- we have a POA where we think about lines, crowds, time of day etc and there's a lot of thought. Me, on the other hand, wants to do it all now!

*This is weird** I am staying Wed-Sat (18-21) at Poly. I made my FP+ choices for Thursday and Saturday but Wed & Fri say that we have reached our FP+limit...What, the What??? When you click on the little I for info it says that "This guest has received the max # of FP based on the number and type of ticket associated with their MDE account" So I was able to make reservations for 2 of the 4 days.

Anybody received this message? I thought it was because I have an AP but the others in my party don't have tickets attached? This is really very confusing

Honestly, the CMs know pretty much nothing when it comes to FastPass+ and MagicBands. Don't worry! Lots of people have been able to make FastPass+ reservations and then later that day or the next morning have been able to customize the MagicBands

I highly doubt it is a glitch. As I mentioned in a previous post - the WDW homepage is showing as "loading" on my browser and has been for an hour and a half. I believe that Disney IT is working on the back end of the WDW site (possibly bringing resorts online for FP+ and MagicBands).

I wish I had never started this darn thread. We are at ASMu next month too and never thought I would get so anxious to try to test the system. I'm tired of signing on to MDE, checking e-mails, reading posts from happy testers, etc. Think I will just go watch a DVR'd Bama game from last year. At least I know the outcome!

I'm at AKV Jambo on 9/28, then going to AoA the 29th. I can only make FP+ for 9/28. No mention of magic bands anywhere.
