Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

Just finished chatting with a CM. I wanted to see if they knew how long it would take to send the MB's after they were customized. She asked me if I had received my official invitation to take part in the test. I told her no, but that it let my customize the bands, said they would be shipping soon, and that I could go in and pick my FP+ choices for all the days of my stay.

She said, "I'm not really sure what's going on...because you are supposed to receive an invitation to participate in this test". She then put me on hold for 15+ minutes and came back saying that if my bands don't show up 1 week prior to departure date to call them.

I asked her if everyone staying at POP would get a chance to use the MB's on those dates and she said they don't have that information. She really wanted to stop talking to me and sounded very uncomfortable by the whole conversation.

My family will be checking in at CSR on August 31. We have not been invited to test, but my son, who is arriving a day early and staying at Pop, has been invited. He has received his Magic Band and is very excited about testing. Our problem is with linking his ticket. He has a RO reservation, and our family has a package. He is planning to pick up the ticket that is part of the package one day early (on his arrival day). The ticket shows up under my MDE account, as I am the primary on the package reservation. (He is primary on his RO reservation.) Is it possible to link the ticket to his account so that he can access FP+?

Is anyone seeing BOG lunch as a FP+ option on any day from Sept 7 to 14?

BOG Lunch is NOT listed in FP+. It is a SEPARATE link to reserve, and it does not "use" one of your 3 daily FP+ selections.

You have to have a 12 digit NUMERIC ONLY confirmation code to book.. the package confirmations with letters were not accepted (last time I tried, a couple of days ago). Which means, ANYONE with a 12 digit, numric confirmation (room only, ME Ticket number,etc) can pre-book this lunch.

when you book, you can choose to just "skip" the line, or you can pre-order your meal and go straight to the table.

Once you make a reservation, it WILL NOT show up in MDE. It is NOT linked.

You do NOT need a MB to "prove" your reservation when you walk up that day. I have captured a screen shot of my ressie, just to be sure, but I"m sure it won't be necessary on walk up day.

Is he listed as friends and family that you travel with a lot? My MIL is the primary on our package with the tickets and I am the primary on a RO the night before the package starts. The tickets linked for me.

Yes. Link him as friends and family. Then link him to your package reservation and then the info for your package will start showing up in his account. My mother is the primary on my coming trip but I am linked to the reservation and therefore all of our itinerary and ADRs show up on my account despite the fact I am not the primary in the reservations.

This may sound like a stupid question, but what would a FP+ be like for Wishes or Fantasmic or the like? Is it a reserved seating area or something?

I hope it rolls out before our trip. It sucks that some people are unable to test currently when they really want to. I want to so hopefully will be able to!

I really hope they roll it out by October/ November... When our trip is. I'm worried about missing out on the good times though!

Also, the CMs are annoyingly vague. When I've asked a question, they don't really answer my question. I'm guessing they can't tell us yet, or don't know.

I read an article where someone tested the FP+ for the fireworks and it was a roped off area in the hub with a CM scanning bands to make sure you should be there.

So, I read your post and decided to try to see if I could get into FP+ as well. I have a RO reservation for POR 9/12 - 9/14. The website wouldn't let me do anything (same message as before, "We're sorry! The selected dates....") so then I tried the app (android smartphone). The app let me in to FP+ and even the calendar, I picked a date and went to the select guests from my party screen and because we have a RO reservations (no tickets) it wouldn't let me go further. Stated "Needs Valid Park Admission".

Not bummed at all, just found it interesting and thought I'd pass the info along in case it helps others.

BTW, no magic band stuff yet for me either...

I don't see FP+ anywhere on my app but I have iPhone is that different? Where on the app did you see it?
