Any September guests received FP+ testing invite?

I thought about doing something like this too but checking in a day early. I don't know if it works if you're doing split stays. I'm doing a Poly/BC split.

Can you check into two hotels on the same day? Thats what you mean right? I guess maybe you could because the hotel systems are not all connected.

Yes, that's what I mean...basically checking in to 2 different WDW resorts on the same day. Honestly, I was kinda surprised the website would even let me book it, but it went straight through, but I'm wondering if it would even work, just seems odd.

I feel like I'm on some Disney high, because in reality, this whole thing sounds so stupid lol., but we are really considering it. I think part of it for us, is that I think this will be the only time that we'll even enjoy using magic bands and fastpass+, as from everything I've read, we'll still be able to use regular fastpasses. I'm def. not looking forward to future trips where we can only get a max. of 3 fastpasses a day, that just seems crazy to us, but it seems like it would work out for the best this trip.

So, by any chance, has anyone been able to book FP+ BEFORE check-in date at a test resort? When we go September 21st-the 28th we are staying on points at BWV the first few nights and then staying at POP. Assuming POP will still be testing, would we be able to book all FP+ for all 6 days of our tickets even if BWV is nit testing?? If not, I think hubby has agreed to get a room at POP the night before to get FP+ the whole time, but I am hoping we won't have to go through that!

Not sure if u mean this: i bked room only AkL 01-03 sep with package POR (parks and dining). At first AKL came up and when i scrolled my POR portion and all ADRs were listed. I was able to book 3 FPs per day ( only did one park as we dont have hoppers). 3 was max. Dates avail were for package days.

Question: will passes and dining be auto activated or do i need to check in ar POR?? I will have bands from AkL. On MDE everything seems linked. Will save me time as we have ADR at C ms. And i need table credit from POR package ???

To get your tickets you will have to check in at the hotel your package that has the tickets attached is from. Once you have tickets and room keys you can link them yourself in MDE and I believe this links them to the band as well.

I don't think I was clear enough! Sorry! We do not have a package at either resort and are buying our tickets seperately this week! I have read reports that with split stays people have been able to book FP+ for extra days AFTER leaving the test resort....Basically what I am asking is once you are part of the test as I am hoping I will be with my Pop Century 9/25 check in date, would one be able to book FP+ for days BEFORE the test resort checkin since Magic Bands are mailed before the trip? IE will I be able to book FP+ from 9/21-9/24 even though I am at BWV those days!?

For those that used FP+ for BOG lunch, did you get some sort of confirmation? Email? MDE? Carrier Pidgeon? Just concerned about getting there and not having a ressie.

I only saw the confirmation page once I booked. I printed that to take with me. I know it's there though because the day after I booked it I was able to go back in and change the time by a few minutes.

August testers are only able to book these for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays so you might want to check out those dates and see if the options are available to you.

No but last night I looked online and I was able to customize bands and make fast pass selections, does this mean we were chosen? Because if it is I wouldn't have know unless I looked online

They still claim there is no sept testing and to check for an email about 17 days out.

They crack me up!! I'm pretty sure I remember reading the same thing for August testing when people got the options before 17 days. A lot of people were also told they weren't in the test group unless they got the letter. I didn't hear of anyone who was able to select their fp+ and customize their bands that wasn't allowed to test. Many of those never got a letter. Maybe the CM's will catch up with Disboards soon.

Keep in mind that I really have no clue, but it seems to me that people are saying that FP+ reservations are totally opened to them once they make their reservations, plus, you could link the two stays (or wouldn't they already be linked) in MDE so the system would know you're going to be there for the entire stay.

Also, I think that the MB will work even before you have checked in to your "MB Hotel" because they say right in the literature to "keep the bands out of luggage and handy" and don't many people go straight to a park without checking in first?

I am pretty sure that that is to save people unpacking in the lobby at check-in and also directed at people taking ME as their checked luggage won't arrive at the hotel for several hours.

Whether they work without passing through the front desk... IDK.

I know we are all getting crazy over something so new but just the thought of carrying less stuff and not having to make sure I get everyone's cards when we get to a park and not lose them the whole time we are there would just be amazing.
