any secrets on buying direct from dvc "discounts'

The price is pretty much what they say, you can't haggle as far as i am aware, but disney usually have an incentive on. At the moment I think it is $98 per point with a $8 discount which can be deducted and used towards your down payment.

Yeah. Buying from DVC saves you up to 70%.

If you work for Disney you can get an additional discount but I think that is about it.

There is currently a promotion for DL AP holders for 15% off, based on minimum purchase of 150 points at $101/point.
