I just bought at the BC villas . I stayed at the Yacht club a few years back and was spoiled with a top floor dead center view facing the Boardwalk room #5177. I hear the views aren't that great at the BCV .Are there any studios with a decent view ? If you know of any would you be kind enough to describe the view and room number you had if possible. Thanks in advance for any info..

I just stayed in 431 and it had I nice view of the us pavilion spire and about 60% of the fireworks show.

All the upper floors (4+) with the “EPCOT fireworks view” have a decent view.

Here is a link to some room information

Thanks very much for that link. I and I'm sure others will find it to be very helpful.

A decent view of what? BCVs are behind the BC. Your choices are a quiet pool/parking lot view, a tree/road/a little Epcot Ball view, or a tree/courtyard view. You can't see the Boardwalk or the lake from the BCVs.

If your definition of a decent view is the lake or boardwalk then the answer is a definite NO

If your definition of a decent view is some of the landmarks at EPCOT over the trees and a view of most of the Illumination’s high fireworks the answer is a definite YES

Everyone has a different perspective.

I agree. We were in Room 363 and loved it. Had a view of Epcot and fireworks. It was also very quiet!

We were in 1BR #529 which was officially a woods view. It was a pretty view. Over the trees you could see a little of the American pavillion, and you could see a partial view of the high fireworks. It was ok, we enjoyed the quiet.

We were in Room 101 and loved it. I doubt most other people would and that is why you should ask for what is important to your family. We wanted to be on the ground floor because DGF had an ECV. We also wanted to be as close to the lobby and bus as possible. We couldn't get any closer. Some people wouldn't have liked to be near the front door, but my mom loved the people watching in the morning while having her morning coffee. We had a lovely view of the courtyard between the BC and the villas. It was so beautiful in the evening. A view is a view to someone....

Would need to dig hard for the room number but we felt we had a good one last summer.

Hi,
Did you happen to find the room #? This pic is wonderful. We're staying in a studio/BCV in Nov, I'd love to request one near this room!
Thank for the effort!

It looks similar (close up view) to the one from 555 in the link above. I would think that 4/540-52 even and 4/553-61 odd would be some of the best.

I posted the pictures from BCV, studio 555. I was happy with the view of Epcot & the higher Illuminations fireworks. There is a road that runs along that side of the resort - I was high enough (5th floor) that the noise wasn't bothersome when I was on the balcony & couldn't hear it at all with the patio door closed.

We just got back and were in room 452 - 2 BDR dedicated. We had a partial view of spaceship earth from the balcony and could see 3/4 of spaceship earth from the window in the master bedroom. Otherwise the view was of trees, the road behind it, an entrance of some sorts to our right - We were right over some humongous electrical thingy and I think it might have been a dumpster behind that. Only one night (after 11 pm) was I tempted to call the front desk regarding the sound of a truck. It sounded as if they were loading and loading something (perhaps garbage?) for a good 30/40 minutes.

If you want a true, full completely unobstructed Illuminations view, you have to book Boardwalk, BW view and request an upper level room as close to the Jellyrolls end as possible (example below). In comparison, anything at BVC is a pale, pale substitute.

Hi,
Did you happen to find the room #? !

I dug around but no luck, sorry. When we came into the BCV building we went up the elevator to the 4th or 5th floor, the walked to the right a long way. Another hall then went further right but we stayed straight (leftish). This was also from the balcony.

Thanks so much for checking on the room #. I've added a request for the Epcot side, and I'll see what we can come up with at check in. I'm jazzed to get to stay at the BCV!
:goodvibes

If its it not upper level-recommend going with pool view, lower level EPCOT is just trees. Like many have said, BCV doesnt not have that many great views so be prepared in case. Last spring we had pool view and liked it better than woods view.

Just remember that if you're on the Epcot side, you have a real good chance of being near the road. Some people don't mind it-the views as shown above, and the outstanding view of Illuminations make it worth it. However, for some people, they just can't deal with that road noise, especially with the balcony door open.

As others have said, third floor and above on the road side affords a decent, though obstructed view, of Epcot rooftops and a little fireworks.

We have been in one of those Epcot view rooms every stay there, though not by asking. We are usually out of the room 16-18 hours a day so view... we don't care so much. We only use the balcony to let swimwear dry. As long as the bed and the bathrooms are okay we're golden. :rotfl:

If we do stay at the resort in the evening we are always on the beach, where they show the movie. That is such a peaceful place to be in the evening, by the lagoon. Fireworks can be partially seen from there, and of course there's always the bridge towards the back entrance to Epcot for viewing as well.
