Well it seems that they did meet this week. I just got the call, Thank you guys sooo Much the pixie dust worked

Now the next question How long does closing take they said the title search was started yesterday

I am so excited, I can hardly keep still but I didn't get a chance to write earlier with the Pres debates.

To answer your question we passed ROFR on 9/14 and just received our docs today.

Don...Woohoo!!! I am so excited for you!! I knew you would pass (just like Kim is going to VERY soon!!)!!!!

Rinkwide...I cannot tell you about Keith's likes or dislikes (other than I can tell you that he probably doesn't like me very much!!)

Don...now it will take 5-14 days for Disney to get the okay in writing to the closing company, and the closing company to do all the checks and draw up the papers. Then, they will either send it to you, or send it to your realtor to okay, and then forward to you. Then, you will sign the docs and return them (with your bank draft or cashier's check...or, you can bank wire the money), and the seller will have to return the docs as well...but, their end must be notarized. Then, everything gets "processed", DVC is notified that you are the new owner, and the title company files everything with the county. Then, in 1-5 days, you will be in DVC's computer. You can call the MS number (should be on your contract...if not, email me and I will give it to you) and check to see if you are in their system.

Congrats to you!!!! January!!!!!


Call the closing company or broker, find out what day your closing is on. After that it is only about 3 - 5 business days to get in the system, they will tell you 10, but from everything I have read 3-5 is much more accurate.

Kim, Kim, Kim.........I know this must be killing you!!!! You have to hear any minute, you went to ROFR on the 14th if I remember right. PIXIE DUST!!!!!

Now for the closing wait - which is worse than the ROFR wait !!

We passed ROFR on 9/9 - sent our papers and check in on 9/20 - still waiting for the sellers papers to close....

Can't wait to be in the system so we can make ressies

Just don't want to start the whole process again - makes you think about going straight to Disney !

We closed at VWL on 9/20 and found out we were already in Disney's system by 9/22. October use year so we can start thinking about using up the banked points now!!
