I have been following all of your trials and tribulations for the last few weeks (AMYBETH i don't care what disney was thinking, you were robbed, Im just glad you picked up again and started with BWV)
Okay we haven't even signed K's yet (sorry Im a real estate Attorney K is shorthand for Contract) anyway but we have accepted offer on 150 BCV Contract (its small small but we are poor with law loans and its a start) I have been searching every timeshare website from Orlando to Callabassas CA to find one.
Anyway finally found a Seller, I hope i didn't overpay too much but I just don't want to loose this one. It is 150 BCV, March Use Year, all 150 points coming on 3/1/05; plus 75 current 04 points available now until 2/28/05 and 75 banked 04 points coming on 3/1/05.
All Maintenance is paid on 04 points, We will pay 05 MF; closing costs; $100.00 transfer fee; and we are paying $76.33/point (dont ask how that happened). I know you guys have been batting around $72-73 but I have had real trouble finding a BCV contract that is not 220+ points or that was not completely stripped until 06. So this one lets me have 04 points up front with the banked and a whole new set of 05 giving me 225 in March.
So thats my story, whats the verdict ; will i pass ROFR? did I overpay? Plus does anybody know if i can get a studio mid week in January or February with my 75 points anyplace in the World would do. I'm hoping Jan will be slow. My son is too excited. This was his first day of school and to get his nerves off school last night i told him what we were buying. he did not get the timeshare concept (hes only 4 my daughter is 4 months) To him he just said, "DAD YOU REALLY BOUGHT A HOME IN DISNEY" what could I say "YEAP"
