Any reviews on the Legoland Aquarium?

We are tacking on a visit to Carlsbad after DL next week and I thought we might do the Aquarium only at Legoland. My kids are too old for the Legoland park but we are never too old for aquariums.

Any reviews? I found a coupon for $9.95 per person. Is it worth ten bucks each? Is there enough to see that would keep us busy a couple of hours? Would my kids like it, or would they think it's too babyish? I've got a 12 year old and a 9 year old.

ANy info appreciated as I can't seem to find a whole lot of reviews. Thanks!

Not worth it.For a bit more I would do either Scripps @ La Jolla(forget the whole name) or Long Beach Aquaium. The one at LL is geared for younger kids. PS I don't think your kids are too young for LL. If you haven't been to LL I'll bet they would love it.

We literally just got back from a 2 week vacation down in California, we did Legoland as well as the aquarium and I would have to agree the aquarium is boring especailly if you have done seaworld or the zoo's. I would look at doing something different that would be worth the time.

Thanks for the responses. We've done Legoland. It was a few years ago and it was okay, I guess. My kids are just true Disney lovers as am I.

Probably be better to spend a few more days at DLR!!!!!!

ride everything twice!!!!

we just got back yesterday. We went to lego land and because we were already there we went to Sea Life. I would not make a special trip just to go there. it is very small and my DD went through it in 20 mins.
