This is Emeril's 2nd restaurant at the Royal Pacific at Universal studios. I figure someone here has probably eaten there, supposedly it is getting much better reviews than his original restaurant in citywalk...

Haven't been, but I hear it's great. You can find reviews on the Universal boards (I know there's one on the Universal Trip Reports board).

I've read two reviews on it and both totally panned the place. :(

We are eating there June 26th! We are spending last night at HRH after 4 nights at BCV. There were some bad reviews(these seemed to be at the opening), but others said it was great. We are trying it and if not..grab a burger at HRcafe!

I will write a review when I have more time

A week from tomorrow and I'll be there! I'll post a review when I get back!

I've seen mixed reviews from "official" foodies. But most of the reviews from "normal" people have been very good.

I have only had lunch there...but it was fantastic. We had the Eggrolls Three appetizer, and I had the Hawaiian Sampler entree. Everything was great. I am by no means one of those who doubles as a food critic, but for my meager self, I would definately go again.

Also, if you were to decide on a burger...I would go to the Islands Dining Room (just down the walkway from Tchoup Chop). It is not that expensive, you can always walk right in, and it is very good. One of those things that nobody thinks of I suppose.

We have eaten at Tchoup Chop twice...once for lunch the week it opened and once for dinner...shortly after. Both times the food and service were excellent. The atmosphere alone is a treat...the great food/service were perks.

I too, have read the mixed reviews from media...hubby and I usually ignore the reviews and judge for ourselves. We enjoy great food...all different types and prices. We found Tchoup Chop to be a wonderful place to eat and we are looking forward to our next meal there.
