I am! By that I mean, I don't have any of the latest systems, but rather I enjoy older setups. I currently game on the N64, Dreamcast, GameCube, Xbox and WiiU. I do have a more recent system - the Xbox One S - but I never use it.

Anyone else enjoy blasts from the past?

I am experiencing many of them now through emulators. I didn't have them when I was growing up but I am enjoying them every now and again well into adulthood.

I do love retro gaming, but also modern gaming too. I am a big nintendo guy and have all of their previous concoles.

Only on the Gamecube nowadays. It was the first system I owned and I have a lot of nostalgia for it. My sister took the majority of our childhood collection so I'm in the process of slowly rebuilding it. I just grabbed a copy of Luigi's Mansion for a reasonable price and my goal is to own Pokemon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness but those aftermarket prices...........yeah I'll play my total legit copies (wink wink) on Dolphin.

Have you seen this?

It's a recreation of the N64, fully compatible, with wireless controllers, native 4K upscaling, all the bells and whistles. I've pre-ordered one myself. I intend to use it with an Everdrive64 X7 - you load all the games you want on to an SD card and launch yourself into the N64's library :) Note: you're supposed to own the games before you emulate them… meant to...

Can I give an emulator shoutout? ReDream. 99% compatible with Dreamcast games, widescreen, 4K emulation, texture upscaling… and it's freeee!

The only ones I've used so far are emulators for most of the Nintendo systems. I've got so much catching up to do that it will take me forever to get beyond that. I found some Pokemon rom's and I'm addicted.

I've dabbled in Dolphin - very impressive! Full speed, highly accurate emulation for GameCube and Wii games. Brilliant app.

Gamed Early On - Usually Strategy or Fantasy but played some early shooter with friends

Favorite All Time - Bandit Kings of Ancient China (for computer) I think it was available for an early consol maybe Nintendo but computer version was much better. Wish I could find good version on emulator but I think most are usually in Japanese. Wish someone would revisit this concept.

Runner ups
Civilization
Diablos
Ali Baba and Forty Thieves (Real Early) Way ahead of its time) Could go for finding this one as well.
World of Warcraft
Mule (Very similar to Bandit King in many ways)

I love Dolphin too (the quality of life changes are 👍) but nothing beats having the real thing. Here's my collection so far, as lame as it is LOL

+ Luigi's Mansion which is still being shipped to my house. Not to brag but all of these include the manuals and extra inserts as well.

Nice little collection! I notice that you've got some strong titles up there (Mario Party 4, Super Monkey Ball, Super Smash Bothers - all stonkers!)

Sadly buying into these physical copies back in the day when you could buy a game and walk out of the shop holding it in your hands, no digital downloads or updates - have all but gone now. The nice thing is, your collection can only go UP in value. That is, unless you don a pair of bovver boots and performed a merry old jig on the disks themselves. If you do that, you may notice that the game has stopped working...

Oh, we showing off Gamecube collections:

That was my take, all bought when new for the most part. I actually have a spare set of Bongos too and a few extra cables and junk.
