Any restaurants serve gluten free rolls?

I have had gluten free buns at places with burgers.

Boathouse has gluten-free rolls, but not with the burger. Rolls are rolls and buns are buns.

Didn't people used to complain that all of the Disney restaurants used the same type of gluten-free buns for burgers, and those buns were not good? (I don't think Disney Springs restaurants were included in this.)

What word you use depends on where you’re from. Included in definition of a roll is
the following “ Rolls can be served and eaten whole or are also commonly cut and filled – the result of doing so is considered a sandwich in American English and in Britain.”
Just looking for a good gluten free sandwich roll in WDW, that’s all

I'm not sure if they all get them from the same place or not. It's been a while since I had a burger or hot dog at WDW to remember what brand they used, but I do remember they were nothing special, IMO.
I've been gf for many years and many WDW trips, and I generally stay away from sandwiches when I'm there, as there are so many really good gf options. The only exception was a gf millet bread that BOG used in their roast beef sandwiches for a while after they opened. Sadly, they got rid of it.

I agree, it very much depends on where you're from. Kinda like soda vs. pop, or hoagies vs subs.

When I was unable to eat gluten, my favorite gluten free bread for sandwiches was at the Grand Floridian. I used to order this fabulous grilled chicken sandwich at the Beach Pool which had avocado and marinated tomato....so good! I was told by the server who took our orders that Grand has their own bakery and makes their own GF bread on site. Hopefully it's still the practice.

Years ago they would email you a list of restaurants and what products they offer that were allergy friendly, if you emailed to ask about it. I don't know if they still do that but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

On the Disney app, when you look under restaurant menus, they have some allergy friendly listings toward the bottom.

Are you newly gf? Or have you eaten gf at Disney before? I have some favorites, but I usually stick to things that are naturally gf before I order a sandwich.

Blaze pizza in DS has a gf crust, but I haven't had it in WDW. I eat at a local Blaze.

If you're going to Epcot during a festival, the festival app (not Disney) will show the booths with gf offerings.

Amazingly, I got a really good gf bun at Geyser Point. It almost had the texture of a wheat bun, none of that gumminess or blandness so characteristic of gf buns practically everywhere.

Dunno, maybe it was just that the chicken sandwich was soooo tasty, and I was seriously hungry.

That was in Nov. '21, so who knows if they still serve that same one? The hazards of gf eating...<sigh>

I always just look up the regular menu on Disney's site. Scroll to the botton for the allergy menu options. This is the same allergy info you'd get on property short of asking to speak to the chef (if you need more specific info or have questions).

We just got back from WDW with my sister who has celiac's and would order gluten-free meals. Most of the buns are the same brand. She would ask them to toast the bun, which made it taste better. Some of the restaurants had a gluten-free dinner roll, small and square, but she found that they weren't too good. She loved the gluten-free Mickey Waffles. Some of the restaurants had a separate allergy menu and others would just tell you which entrees could be made gluten free.
