Any reports from the Bahamas?

i haven t seen or heard much as to how the Bahamas did? I read their airports may open tomorrow but that is about it

The live cam in Nassau is still up, it looks windy but not bad.

The storm has drifted to the west enough that the Bahamas will not take the kind of hit that was originally anticipated. That doesn't mean there aren't still issues to come, but it could've been worse.

Castaway Cay is outside the projected path of the worst winds, so hopefully the storm damage won't be too bad.

I would much rather be in Nassau right now, west side of central Florida is slowing getting nasty. The worst is yet to come.

I hope this good news continues. Unfortunately it looks like Jose may turn and head towards the Bahamas later in the week.
