How did the extra afternoon at CC work out? Did they have shows? Any other things to share? We are on February 5-12.

I'm on the Fantasy right now (Jan 15-22). We were supposed to be doing an Eastern Caribbean sailing with stops at St. Maarten, San Juan and CC but on Thursday, it got changed to a Western Caribbean sailing with stops at Nassau, CC, Cozumel and Costa Maya.

We do have shows on the cruise; Frozen was on last night and tonight, Believe is on Tuesday and Wednesday and Aladdin is on Thursday and Friday.

When did they let you know the itinerary change? Was it before you were onboard or after you boarded? Thanks

I just got off the Jan 8-15 cruise. We were supposed to have 1800 people on board, but with cancellations and COVID denials, we had 1200. Tortola went as planned, but St. Thomas was cancelled. They said that there was a high occurrence of COVID on the island.

We had an unplanned day at sea and then arrived at CC a day early, probably around 1500. That day was nice, the next day (our full day) was SUPER windy and cold and everything was cancelled except bike rentals. It was pretty disappointing.

The crew was cool, helpful as usual and we had a good time. Happy to answer any specific questions if there are any.

How long were you allowed to stay on shore on the first CC afternoon?
Were there fireworks?

Thanks for the info.

We sadly missed CC today. It has been crazy windy since last night and the swells were going over the pier at CC so unsafe to dock (it probably wouldn't have been very fun with all the wind anyway).

The announcement that St. Thomas was being taken off of our itinerary was made less than 24 hours before we were to arrive there. I had just put $1500 in gift cards onto my account to pay for excursions. This all happened a few days ago, but not on the current cruise.

We docked at CC around 1500 and were able to go ashore about 30 minutes later.

Since this was a SWDAS cruise, we had the Star Wars themed fireworks the night before CC. Nice show, but definitely shorter than the pirate one.

Can you two talk about what went on with star wars day at sea? Was it like past years?

Hi. Been absent for a while… We were on 1/8 to 1/15 Fantasy cruise.
- We were told of the change … not stopping in St. Thomas as soon as we boarded in Tortola.
- On the first day at Castasway Cay we had to be back on the ship by 6:00 PM.
- I cannot speak to past Stars Wars DAS, but his was nothing compared to what we experienced with Marvel DAS. I imagine the difference was protocol related.

Star Wars DAS:
-Characters around the ship, special reserved picture opportunities with Darth Vader, C3PO, R2D2, and Chewy.
-Movie showings in both theaters.
-Watched first to episodes of the Book of Boba Fett in the WD Theater.
-They played all the Star War movies in sequence in the theater… once each day doubling on on SWDAS day
