So, my family is leaving on FRIDAY!!! My mom made plenty of ressies (just in case..we probably won't keep them all). Anyway, I know you all are well versed in the WDW menus - whats good and whats not...So here's the list! Please, any recommendations are welcome!

LUNCHES
Alfredo's in EPCOT
50's Prime Time at MGM
Tony's at MK

DINNERS
Liberty Tree Tavern at MK
Plaza in MK
Rainforest at AK
LeCellier at EPCOT
Sci-Fi at MGM
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge

popcorn:: :drinking1 :cake: :mickeybar :thanks:

I like all of the food at the Plaza--do not leave out ice cream there! At Primetime, we were not keen on the pot roast, but my son liked the meatloaf and the sandwiches were good and huge. Although others disagree, I like the ALfredo at ALfredos. The mozzarella and tomato salad was also good. We usually get the skillet at WCC, which is good. Can't remember anything else one way or the other! Enjoy.

Our opinion...
LUNCHES
Tony's at MK - wonderful, ask for a porch table if it's not to hot and a parade will pass by :thumbsup2 You can get dog paw prints in your autograpgh book here. The waiter/waitress will bring your autograph book to the 'back kitchen' where Lady & The Tramp are 'eating'. Then you will receive your autograph book back with 2 dog prints and the word Tony (the chef) from your waiter/waitress :)

DINNERS
Liberty Tree Tavern at MK - we have always loved it here. We ate dinner here 2 weeks ago and found all the meats to be dry. Maybe it was just the chef that day - but DH said not for us to go back. Others may have a better opinion than us.

Plaza in MK - just wonderful. Food is very fresh. Great ice cream too. :thumbsup2

Rainforest at AK - such a fun place to eat. Owned by Laundry. Get a Rain Forest Safari card and receive 10% off your meal.

LeCellier at EPCOT - :woohoo: , please try the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup and for a child's dessert, Chocolate "Moose"

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge - fun for everyone. We ate there 2 weeks ago. They threw napkins and straws at us. The table next to us asked for ketchup and received 48 bottles. A young boy asked for a green crayon and every child gave him their green crayon. If you love bar-b-que, you will love WCC.

We have eaten at the Liberty Tree for the last three years, most recently on July 2nd. Meal was as always delicious and service very good. :yay:

Le Cellier-Cheese soup (wow!) mushroom filet, maple creme brulee
Prime Time-fried chicken,or potroast, pb&j shake
Sci Fi-good spinach dip and burgers
Rainforest-I also love this place love the chim cha chas (or whatever they are called) and the turkey wrap

At 50's PT---the fried chicken was excellent!! We will be going back to there just for that.

WCC--we had the BBQ family type platter (forgive me right now as I've forgotten the name)---it had corn on the cob, pork, cole slaw and I believe sausage, baked beans and rolls. I know it had a lot of meat on it and you could get as much as you wanted. It was good--not sure if I'd go back just for that though.

Those are the only ones we've tried. Have a great time!

Just my opinions:

LeCellier: Cheddar Cheese Soup, the Shrimp Cocktail, the 7 oz Filet, the mushroom Filet.

50's Prime Time: Smoked Seafood Dip, Chicken Pot Pie, Fried Chicken, the shakes!

Tony's: Calamari, Chicken Parmigiana

Rainforest: Brave New World Pizza, Rasta Pasta, Mojo Bones

and now I'm hungry.

50's PT: We went there end of May '06. Fried chicken rocked the house.... DH had roast beef and liked it, but I know many 50's PT experts say it's changed & isn't as good as it used to be. DS10 loved the salmon. Oh, and our server (Aunt Brenda) let us have chocolate malts for our beverage on the DDP!!! That was an awesome malt (had extra malt). Oh, and the s'mores dessert. Wow. We tried to order DD8 from the kids menu (since we were on the DDP, and you are only supposed to order off the kids meal for under 10 y.o.'s)...Aunt Brenda wouldn't allow it...said mac 'n cheese wasn't a proper supper...so DD8 got the adult fried chicken & mac 'n cheese (which was perfect). YUM! We thought we were going to explode after that meal.

ooohhhh lets see
sci fi- good burgers
50's-fried chicken and the smores are ssooo good!
le cellier-cheddar cheese soup, filet mignon with creamcheese mashed potatoes!
RFC- the volcano dessert is the BEST, plenty for numerous people!

LUNCHES
Alfredo's in EPCOT
50's Prime Time at MGM
Tony's at MK

DINNERS
Liberty Tree Tavern at MK
Plaza in MK
Rainforest at AK
LeCellier at EPCOT
Sci-Fi at MGM
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge

You have a pretty nice selection above. A lot of "fun" type restaurants.
50's PT is a blast, Tony's is good and Alfredo's is not bad either (last 2 are both Italian).
Haven't eaten at others, except for a different Rainforest, but think all are same. You can do better than RF Cafe.

I dind't know about the autographs at Tony's. Cool! And I had heard that there are some "tricks" at WCC...but I had no idea! Hahahaha :rotfl:

The only restaurants we haven't tried yet are LTT, Alfredos, LeCellier, and WCC. I can't wait! 50s PT is a must-do every trip, and Rainforest is kind of a "fall back on" in case we don't want to have a quick meal.

Thanks for all of your suggestions! :wave2: Be on the look out for a trip report...We're leaving on Friday and are coming back the following Saturday!

At Le Cellier we liked the shrimp cocktail, 7 oz filet, maple creme brulee and the Chef's signature dessert plate.

At WCC we loved the nachos, NY Strip and the Canyon Skillet! My DH said this was the best steak he had all week!

LUNCHES
Alfredo's in EPCOT - Not a place I would go to. Eat light - maybe a salad
50's Prime Time at MGM Again, eat light - food is good but very fulling - no milkshakes
Tony's at MK-Wow. You like a big lunch - try the ravioli's

DINNERS
Liberty Tree Tavern at MK I've not eaten there
Plaza in MKNot eaten there
Rainforest at AK - Love their salads, and pasta dishes - pizza's are okay for kids, wraps are also very good
LeCellier at EPCOT -I had the surf and turf - can't go wrong with steak. This place is okay but I'm still trying to figure out what the rave is about
Sci-Fi at MGM-Love the Reuben
Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge - We've only had the eat till you throw up - and it was very good.
