Any recent BOG PPO experiences?

I mistakenly booked a BOG PPO reservation for an EMM day. When I switched it to a different day, the earliest I could get was 8:30. Has anyone had recent experiences of being let in earlier than 8:30? I know when we went last year, as long as reservations were before opening, you were able to get in early. Anyone know if that is still the case? I've got my fingers crossed!

We had an 8:45am reservation a couple weeks ago. We were let in to BOG when we arrived at check in (which was about 8:15am.)

I had PPO BOG twice in March. Your 8:30 reservation gets you in MK at 7:45 and in BOG at 8 when it opens. Preorder your food to save time.

Mine is on an EMM morning. I know you won’t get a ride before 9 am because the EMM people have till 9, but do they at least let you get in line before the rope drop rush gets there?

As of November they did. They let us get into line around 8:50, maybe a few minutes later. Our total wait was only about 15 minutes, and we were there before the rope drop crowd. The one nice thing about going on an EMM day was that we could be sure our PPO breakfast would remain PPO.

I booked us a PPO breakfast on an emm day, trying to decide now if we should keep it or not. Our rope drop focus for the day is supposed to be Frontierland and Adventureland. I figure if we do mine train once, it will put us 10–15 minutes behind once we get to btmrr. What to do...

Kind of a related question - if we have an 8:40 PPO reservation, arrive at the park at 8, seated at 8:15 and have our food pre-ordered...I see that we may be seated before 8:30, but will our food be on the 8:50 timetable (if that makes sense?)
We don't want to get there early and end up waiting forever for our food because we weren't expected until 8:40. We've never done BOG for breakfast before.

You'll be fine. When we went in November we had an 8:35 reservation and had pre-ordered. We were the 2nd family into BOG at 8:05, and the first thing we did was go to a screen where we confirmed our order and let the kitchen know we were there. We were out by 8:45.

Just the info I was looking for, thanks so much for the quick and clear answer!
