Any reason to buy SeaWorld tickets in advance?

SeaWorld tickets are currently selling for $53 one day or $73 7 to 14 day on SeaWorld's website. Supposedly the $53 ticket is "on sale." Is there any reason to buy now rather than wait to see if a better price shows up? I've heard good discounts are often available in San Diego. Trip is last week of August.

You would bypass the lines if you already have a paper copy.

Otherwise we've been in SD the last dozen Augusts and always found kids get in free or $20 off at McD's. Or at Costco I've always found tickets for less.

Costco site shows only the San Diego 3-for-1 Pass for $99.99/A and $84.99/C. Is it possible they have other offerings in the clubs?
