Any promo codes out there for Disney Photo pass?

When everyone is saying about being able to do the enhancements, does that mean they GIVE you pictures on the CD that you can use as backgrounds and stuff for your pictures?

I am trying to decide if I just want to do the 60 dollar one. Do they send me a CD when I get home and the pictures are on the CD for me to print or do whatever with?

How often do you really find one of those photographers around to take your picture? Also, would they be kind enough to take a picture of us with our own camera or do they only do pictues for those using photopass?

Thanks!
We bought a CD at WDW the last time we went. I bought it sight-unseen. I just assumed the photographers would do a good job....I will never do that again! Only a few of the photos were usable. :headache:

You can go to a photography shop on Main Street to get the CD. They can show you the photos on a view screen and you can then decide how you want to purchase.

I don't feel the photographers are easy to find at either WDW or DLR...that is just my opinion. You have to really look for them at certain times of the day. They usually like to take a couple of photos of you in a certain spot. They are kind enough to take photos of you with your camera, whether you use their services or not.

We went to DLR a couple of weeks ago and we grabbed a photographer every where we saw them. We saw people walk up to them, hand them their camera, and ask them to take their photo, even if they weren't using a Photopass. They were all very gracious about it.

Usually they are wearing brown/tan vests and have a big camera in their hands. Especially in the morning, they will be at the entrance of the park asking people if they would like their photos taken. They take your photo and hand you the Photopass card and you are on your way. Just don't lose your card. :goodvibes

They can do enhancements at the park when you purchase your photo or you can do it online when you order them for home delivery:

As far as I know, they don't put enhancements on the CD for you to put into the photos later. This is one of our Photopass photos at CA park from a couple of weeks ago.

Brad, so I'm not giving bad info anymore, can you help me? :)

DLR: take a CD home, just the plain old pictures, no editing = 59.95 (or 74.95 with 2 5x7 prints). Order and pick it up at the photopass place on Main Street or at Greetings from California

WDW: take a CD home, just the plain old pictures, no editing = ???
Order and pick it up...where ?????

Thank you Brad!

pepperderr, if you order the editable CD, you do the editing online. Add borders, throw pixie dust around, signatures of characters, etc. You can see examples of what they had at DLR in Sept and Dec at the end of my first two trip reports in my sig (the Jack Sparrow border is something that they seem to do "in" the camera, they just had the borders online and I can't figure out how to get them off). Once you edit everything, that's when you put in the code you got when pre-purchasing, or when you just buy the CD online.

So when people are saying they add boarders and pixie dust and stuff, that is not on the disk like clipart to add to the pic but you add it from your own computer or pictures? I really am thinking this is not worth the money but that is probably because I just don't understand it. People say they go from 100 pics to 300 pics with adding boarders and stuff but I don't have disney boarders or anything. If they will gladly take a pic with my own camera, I think I will stick to that. Thanks for the info!
