Any problems with bringing your strollers??

We're bringing our own stroller to WDW. Our third son, will be 18mos at the time - and possibly may be sleeping when we arrive at restaurants for TS. Are we able to bring the single stroller inside with us? Or do we have to leave it outside, and wake him to sit in a highchair?

I think it would depend upon the TS restaurant you are at and the time of day (busy meal time or "off-peak"). For our last trip (13 months ago), I do not recall a TS where I could have brought in a stroller -- but we made PS/ADRs at intentionally early hours when I could guess that neither of the children would be sleeping.

My then 11-month-old DD was asleep when we went for lunch at CRT on christmas day and I asked if it was possible to take her stroller in as she was sleeping. The CM at the podium said "It's not a ride!". When I told her that I realised that and we had an ADR she smiled and said "Yes, that will be fine. Take the elevator." They took a chair away from our table to make room for the stroller.

I took my stoller into CG and Le Cellier. None of the servers had a problem with it. They put us into an out of the way seat with more room than we would have had if we didn't have the stroller. He slept through a 3 hour dinner at CG.

DD fell asleep on our night at Boma's. We were allowed to roll the stroller to our table. We pushed it up close, but was no problem.

We were able to bring our stroller into WCC, CP, 1900 Park Fair, and Ohana's (I believe). Unfortunately we had to leave it behind for LTT, Beingarten, Chef Mickey's, and San Angel Inn. I think that for some of the resturants it depends on the time of day/crowds and where they can fit you in.

Its a big - maybe!! Try making your ADR's for off peak times and your chances are better. If your baby is sleeping and they can accomodate you they will. If baby is awake plan on leaving the stroller outside in every table serve restaurant.

Unfortunatly, even if baby is sleeping, when the restaurant is busy they sometimes just can't accomodate the stroller Many of the World Showcase restaurants have the tables very close together and at busy times it just may not be possible. If baby is sleeping and you have an ADR when they can't take the stroller, explain the situation and maybe they will be able to move your ADR to a later time. In our experience they have moved us later but not earlier with ADR times.

My dear neice slept soundly in the stroller at Prime Time, Ohana and Chef Mickeys but they couldn't fit us at San Angel. My sil moved my neice to the sling and she slept there for a while and woke up just before we ate.

Just an fyi there are also a few pavilions in Epcot where the stroller isn't allowed, The Land is one and I can't remember the other. So if you have a snugli or sling its a lifesaver there as well as in the lines.

I was able to bring my DD(2 1/2) into CP in her stroller but they very specifically ONLY if she was asleep. On another trip I was able to bring my other DD(3 1/2 at the time) asleep in her stroller into Biergarten.

CP suggested we not wake the baby up and bring in the stroller (and it was a double side by side and they knew that)...so very accommodating. I was about to wake the baby up! Actually, I think I declined because I was uncomfortable with being in someone's way and so they gave us a high chair that had a reclined seat attached (kind of like the kind that are attached to a shopping cart) and she slept in that. When she woke up, they gave us a normal high chair.

They let us take our stroller in if my son was sleeping, I never had a problem. They were very accommodating!

I brought my side by side Aria DOUBLE stroller to EVERY TS meal we went to, except Chef Mickeys. They had high chairs with infant seats on them which worked out GREAT! (she was only 4 months old when we went in October) The TS restaurants we went to on our trip were: Crystal Palace, 'Ohana, Le Cellier, Concourse Steakhouse.

Our experience was no strollers in restuarants and things at all. Took ours. Airline broke clasp that kept it folded up. Finally figured out last half of week that renting was much easier.Get a double if you can. Even for one small child. Gives them room to stretch out and leaves you room for a package or two if you want. Bring old blanket or towels from room for a bit of padding. Strollers are hard plastic. No proof, but I think they are less attractive to thieves even if they are left in front of a ride with items in them, though Disney was wonderful about watching the parked stroller lanes when rides were running.

Last trip we we had one 15 months. Whenever he was sleeping, all the restaurants were quick to tell us to leave our "little prince" in the stroller, even when they seemed very busy. Every place was very accomdating, without being asked.

When we went in 2004, I wasn't sure if he'd be sitting yet. Disney told me strollers are allowed for non-sitting and sleeping infants.
