Any problems lately with RFID cards at attractions lately?

Have heard some about some issues with RFID cards (or MB"s) not working properly at some of the attractions. Seems to be hit or miss from what I understand.

Just wondered as it seems to be a lot of issues over the last week or so from what I am hearing from guests in the park.

My wife's didn't work thursday at MCO for DME. Resort fixed it and she never had an issue.

We saw several people in the parks that insisted they had FP for whatever ride we were trying to get in line for, but bands weren't working. Every time the CMs asked to see a screen shot of the FP. Surprisingly, none of them had one. :rolleyes2

I don't know how to make screen shots and didn't have any when we went in November. Doesn't make one a fibber. I was told they won't accept a screen shot anyway since you can make one and then switch for something else.

You are right. It doesn't make everyone a fibber. But about the 5th time it happened on a headliner, I became skeptical. The CMs who hear it all day every day must have the patience of saints. :)
I'm not sure if they would have taken it or not as no one ever had one, but they did ask every time.

Somewhat depends on the attraction and the current wait times. At the attraction I work (from time to time), we, "most of the time", will try to accommodate the guest. If wait times are "long" we will often suggest that the guest go to the Guest Relations location that deals with FP+ & MDE issues to sort it out. If the wait times are short, lines not very long, we will "usually" accept a screen shot.

After doing the "Greeter" positions for awhile, you can usually sort out the "fibbers" the guests with real FP reservation and MDE issues. Not all attractions are lenient though. The one I work happens to be a meet & greet (not Fairy Tale Hall) and not a ride attraction.

DBF has this issue sometimes with his MB. Sometimes the Mickey head will turn blue, but most of the time it works. The CM has always (so far) let him go through once he shows the CM that we have an active FP+ directly from his MDE app.

When we were at DHS, DBF had an issue with his FP+ not showing up on MDE. We went to the FP+ kiosks, and they all showed up. The CM told us to take a picture of the kiosk screen and to show that to the attractions CMs if we ran into this issue again.
